Cheap prices, good food - Edit
Although it's a little bit tricky to find Made's Warung, we finally made it there and were surprised by the nice warung. Although it's not in the jungle, there are lots of plants and we really liked the atmosphere. Furthermore, the food was really good and the ingredients really fresh and of good quality. Also the portions were quite good (the first restaurant in Ubud where we really got full😄). The service took quite a while, although we were the only guests, the staff was very friendly. Would definitely go there again.

Best value for money - Edit
I cannot confirm the other reviews that you are overlooking the jungle. It‘s surrended by plants but nothing special. The food was excellent though and super cheap. I can recommend the Nasi Campur.

Tasty and scenic - Edit
Can enjoy a tasty meal overlooking the jungle really! It’s a bit tricky to get to, so may need to walk a couple of mins from where car can get to.

Great Indonesian vegan food - Edit
Great little place in Ubud. The surroundings make you feel like you are in the jungle. Super cozy. We had the nasi campur and a green curry. Highly recommend the nasi campur. Owners are super friendly too and really good prices.

A little off the beaten path - Edit
Came upon this eatery by accident while taking a walk. I took a chance despite not knowing what to expect... and was happy to find that they offer a vegetarian menu. I wasn't sure if by "vegetarian" they included eggs and dairy (in Asia, the word is often synonymous with "vegan"), so I asked the chef and it seems that the items on the "Vegetarian Menu" are in fact vegan. If you are unsure, I recommend asking the chef or the staff - they were very accommodating and kind in answering my questions. Came here 3 times as it happened to be near my hotel. I enjoyed all of the food I tried. It was a nice change from some of the other more intricate designer vegan food you can enjoy in Ubud. I love how simple and light, yet satisfying, the meals are here. The outdoor seating allows for a relaxing, friendly atmosphere (there is a small koi pond too). I tried their nasi campur, fried noodles, and mie kuah with rice. All of them were good, but I especially liked the nasi campur (really nice tempeh!!). Want to go back just to try it again!!
