Great food, weird vibe - Edit
The vegan options aren't marked on the menu but the staff knew exactly what we could have. Food was delicious.
Read moreWe were the only people in the restaurant (although it was a Monday night) and it was deadly quiet with bright lighting so not very much atmosphere.
The tables were a little dirty but if you're looking for a good vegan curry I would definitely recommend.
Pros: Delicious food
Cons: No atmosphere, Dirty tables

Yummy dishes! - Edit
Great array of vegetarian dishes (quite a few were suitable for vegans) loved the tofu curry and alo gobi. Pleasant service and large portions - be careful not to over order like we did! Only criticism would be the ambience was a bit bright and atmosphere a bit dead. Food was very fresh and tasty!

Himalaya now maharaha - Edit
We went there planning to eat nepalese food but we ended up having an indian dinner. It seems that the Himalaya merged with Maharaja indian restaurant. If you want to order nepalese food you would need to ask for this menu, as they normaly give you only the indian one.
Read moreWe finally ordered only indian food. Maharaja restaurant was the first one in Hungary and even a maharaja relative of the owner open up the place. We had the best indian food we have tried.
They have a vegetarian menu but the waiter knows which ones are vegan or not. We were three, took 2 dishes of rice, 3 main dishes, 2 naans, and 2 mango lashi (not vegan) and we paid around 12 € each. The dishes were big and the food delicious, we didnt finish them. The service was nice. We loved the place!
Pros: amazing food, nice service, amazing naans!
Cons: vegan dishes marked on the menu

Fab cauliflower curry - Edit
My friend and I ended up here after looking for a vegan place that ended up being closed. But go here anyway! I honestly thought I’d have to get my vegan passport app out as the lovely man who served us didn’t seem to have much English, but he knew plenty to tell me what was vegan or not. The cauliflower curry was amazing! Never had anything like it before. Food highlight of the trip. Maybe even the whole year!

Excellent food and service - Edit
The food was in an excellent quality and not expensive. The people that work there were extremely nice and welcoming. The place doesn't have a lot of clients so it's quite and romantic. It's a very worm and local place so the people speak only some English and it's only except case. Overall this was one of the best places we had in the city.
