This store made me so happy. So many baked goods and a wide variety of local/international kombucha and fermented drinks! Very wide selection of products. Got some hummus and olives from the deli and they were good. Wish I could have tried one of their pizzas that looked amazing! Their house made ice cream (coconut milk based) is super yummy! There aren’t that many stores like this in Costa Rica so I’ll definitely be stopping by any time I’m in the area.

Some good fresh choices, a lot of vegan options, friendly girl was always helpful at the counter, the ice cream made by mama toucans was amazing (I had the chocochip one), some other options were limited (only bread they bake, chips we lays and tontitos, salsa was only Tostitos, and some produce was a bit dated.

Mama Toucans was such a lovely market with incredible and extensive vegan options!! the deli has realllllly tasty vegan tempeh spring rolls and vegan pizza too! Mama Toucans vegan ice cream is so tasty too WOW (way better/more options than the place next door fyi)

Health Consious Grocery & Deli - Edit
Super cute store! We found our selves here almost every day even though we stay about 25 mins away. They have a ton of vegan options in the store from cheese to vegan meats (though a bit pricey it's still nice to know we can get those whenever). The deli was awesome, they serve plenty of vegan options, I reccomend the vegan sandwich and the vegan pizza both are so tasty ♡♡

Great selection of vegan food: breads, cheeses, milks, desserts, organic fruits and vegetables and the most delicious ice creams (their own brand). Fruits and veggies are in a good prices, the rest of products are expensive but the quality is great.

Mama Toucan’s is a great little health food store in the center of Dominical and their stock is incredible. There were ample supplies of everything we needed, including nut milks and chia seeds!!! I travel with chias and cashews to make my own pudding, had run out of seeds, and they are nowhere to be found in CR except here! Also the deli is amazing for take out with mostly vegan options.

AMAZING GEM OF A STORE - Edit
This store was such an amazing find! From the amazing homemade vegan ice cream, to the house made hummus (best I’ve ever had anywhere), to the locally made tinctures for overall health, and the house made veggie burgers were so delicious (too many best I’ve ever hads to name)! I was blown away to find this store in an area where vegan/vegetarianism isn’t all that popular. This store is better then the health stores we have in the US. If your traveling Costa Rica, and cooking for yourself, stock up here. This store is one of a kind especially in a country where finding vegan cheese can be impossible.
