Decent Indian Option - Edit
This was a fine dinner option in a town with few great Vegan options. The appetizers were the best of the items we ordered, with the spring rolls being quite good, and the samosas being great (they were missing a mint chutney to round them out though).
Read moreThe entrees were fine (veg. curry and aloo matter), although lacking in flavor and spice (we ordered medium). The Roti was fine as well, but not close to some places I've tried.
Pros: Filling , Decent number of vegan options
Cons: Lacking full flavor expected of Indian cuisine

Their food is excellent and they have a clearly marked and prominent vegan menu, along with a vegan bread menu.

Okay option - Edit
They have lots of good options for vegans here so that was excited in a mountain town that has surprisingly few good vegan options. However I was a bit disappointed in the food. The vegan bread we got was delightful but the aloo Gobi I got was a bit disappointing. The flavors were good but the cauliflower and potatoes were just not super great. Usually I find this dish to be very comforting but I had a hard time here finding that same joy. The sauce was also quite soupy. My friend got a different vegan dish with peppers and potatoes and I tried it and it was a bit better. The food overall was pretty decent, just didn't hit my expectations for the aloo Gobi specifically which I usually love when I go out for Indian.

Best Food I’ve ever Had In Big Bear! - Edit
I’ve been coming to Big Bear for years and have never tried this place because HOW can Indian food in a small American mountain town be good? Well, I’m a dummy for not coming here sooner. The Baingan Bharta was the best I’ve ever had and I live in a major city! They have a few vegan sections on the menu with plenty of options. Even the vegetarian options have their own space on the menu. The paratha was warm and held up so that I was able to scoop up my curry with it. The only thing that was a bit different than I’ve had before were the pakoras which were massive and had some thick cuts of veggies in them. They were still very delicious and I did end up eating them all.

Good Food - Edit
Went there for lunch on a Saturday. Not crowded but a very large phone order came in just ahead of us. Our meal came in 20 minutes which wasn’t bad considering the situation. Had the channa marsala and it was very good. First time here but will be returning.

Best vegan option in big bear - Edit
We have tried a lot of the places up in big bear and the food and options have always been mediocre. This place was slammed and amazing. We ordered take out because although their site says free delivery, they were not delivering.
Read moreThey have a whole page in their menu with vegan items separated out. We ordered the spring rolls and 3 vegan dishes directly from their vegan menu along with 2 orders of their vegan roti and 2 sides of rice (their meals do not come with rice). The Chana masala was my favorite (as chicken tikka masala is most people’s favorite!). Everything was amazing and delicious. When I placed my order he did not ask for any spicy levels so the food was prepared without any spice. When we picked up they provided styrofoam plates, utensils and spice on the side we could mix in. It was perfect.
Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area.
Pros: Separate vegan menu with 13+ items, Average priced , Delicious food!
Cons: Website was down so used google photos for menu

Options in Big Bear - Edit
We loved their bread. The dal soup was excellent but we had a problem with the aloo gobi (it didn't taste like the original aloo Gobi should taste)
