Ate here 3 times during my 3 days in Bogota. Staff vegan aware and plenty of vegan options. Delicious toasts, soups and drinks.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good food options. They have almond milk and can do most things vegan. I chose the smoothie bowl and a chocolate with almond milk. Que rico!

Creo que es la mejor hamburguesa vegan que he probado en mi vida (sin temor a exagerar). La croqueta, los aderezos, el pan, realmente hicieron de esa primera vez que la probé una experiencia memorable. Acompañada de papas con una rica salsa, sí merece la pena cada uno de sus 30 mil pesos.

El establecimiento es agradable, tiene mesas adentro y afuera. Las de afuera están bajo techo, aunque si llueve muy fuerte es probable que te mojes. Los precios elevados supongo que son por su ubicación en Chapinero Alto. #Veganuary

More expensive than most other vegetarian places in Bogota. They have a meal of the day but it costs 27.000 pesos (tip included) and it does not come with a soup or a drink like nearly every other meal of the day in Colombia. They will also give you a printed menu if you don't want the meal of the day. Today's meal was a bowl with quinoa, cubed sweet potatoes, roasted cauliflower, roasted cherry tomatoes, and toasted parmesan. Good flavors. They don't have a sign out front so I wasn't sure that I was in the right place. Kind of odd that a restaurant wouldn't put a sign out to let people know that they were there. It's an attractive place with lots of outdoor seating, and it's located in an attractive neighborhood. The food was good but deducting a star because of the value, and the portion size (I was hungry again just 2 hours later). The place was nearly full on Saturday afternoon so I guess they're doing something right... local people seem to like it.

Mesa Salvaje is always full, and with good reason! They offer healthy food, amazing prices, lots of vegan options and the most wonderful coffee.
Read moreParking near the restaurant is difficult, so it's best to walk or take a taxi.
Make sure to call and make a reservation before going to make sure you don't have to wait, and to make sure the place is open to the public that day (they sometimes close for private events).
