Small but will suffice - Edit
This place is not overflowing with everything under the sun, but what they have is fresh and healthful, so I'll take it. Expect local fresh produce when you walk into the store, and then the bulk bins. Some bulk items are pre-packaged, as in most other MOM's, like dried organic apricots and organic raisins.
Read moreThen there's some coffee and dairy products, including several types of vegan cheeses and non-dairy milks. They have a few pre-made food items, but not a lot. They have breads and tortillas, along with a few bakery items like from Sweet & Natural. They have a ton of snacks like chips, cookies and chocolates.
The frozen food section is decent, and there are some staple non-meat burger and protein veg alternatives. Some frozen veggies and fruit, pizzas and ice cream to round out the choices will fill your cart. There's also a bunch of other items of course, like organic grains and cereals, sauces, pastas, baking supplies, paper goods, personal care items and a whole ton of vitamins and health supplements.
I only wish they had a Naked Lunch attached to this store!

Good Option - Edit
They have plenty of vegan pre-packaged foods, some of which are pretty hard to find elsewhere (chao mac and cheese, namely). The staff are very friendly - once, my husband accidentally bought me one of those dairy free (but not vegan) cheeses. The cashier was willing to refund us, which isn't something you encounter in bigger grocery stores! To be honest, I still recommend The Common Market over this place any day, but that's because they have more options.

Love MOM's - Edit
I go to MOM's frequently, they have good prices on many items. I wish they had a deli but have limited space. People are always very friendly.

Great place to shop - Edit
Aside from reasonable prices, often below those at chain food stores, the architecture and lay-out is inviting. Food selection is good, and includes a mix of local and unique items, adding freshness and excitement (indeed) to the standard offerings. And the customer service is superb - friendly, knowledgable, without being intrusive.
