Great feed and ambience - Edit
The food was great, although on the more expensive side we only needed 3 small plates for the 2 of us and we were full. 3 small plates and 2 drinks costed $90.

Delicious Fancy Meal Out - Edit
We came here for a fancy meal to celebrate an event. We selected a range of vegan dishes to share. There were lots of vegan options to choose from. Everything was delicious, service was quick and staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend booking well in advance as it’s popular. My only regret is not having left enough room for dessert! Will have to come back and be more restrained when ordering mains/sides.

Very salty and small serving sizes - Edit
The food was salty, serving sizes were small and prices were expensive. Not good value at all.

Interesting choices, well served, but not amazing - Edit
We had the tasting menu and we rolled out of the restaurant like we had eaten the entire menu, so very filling dishes for this option. Regarding taste, however, we felt a bit underwhelmed. The dairy options probably taste better, but the vegan versions still tasted fine, just not the level of complexity we'd expect from the prices. Other than that, great ambiance, many options, great service.

Cons: Some dishes tasted just OK, A bit dairy-oriented, Seemed like the non-vegan options tasted better

Yes it’s really ovo-lacto-focused. I found that the vegan versions suffered for this reason.

We loved it!, but just a tad pricey - Edit
Loved the venue and the atmosphere. Staff were friendly. We had the corn ribs, which were absolutely delicious. My personal favourite is the cauliflower (so yum!) and the shiitake dumplings were my partner's favourite. The squash katsu needed double the katsu gravy that it came it, because I find squash can be a little bland. The sweet potato dish was delicious too. I think asking for any spicy oils/sauces on the side, instead of on the vegetables, is wise. Some dishes were a little bit too spicy for me, but I am very sensitive to chilli. I think there was enough choices for the 2 nights that we ate there. Even though there is only one vegan dessert, it was delicious, so we had that for both nights. One downside was that it was a little pricey, but that's probably because my partner is a big eater. If we lived in Canberra we would eat there regularly, however, they had limited vegan choices on the menu, which is odd given the shift to plant based eating.

Make the watermelon sashimi a permanent fixture! - Edit
During the initial phase of their vegetarian journey they offered a degustation with watermelon sashimi which was DIVINE! Not sure if it's still on the degustation menu, but I wish it was on the A La Carte... The corn snack/share option is super delish if you like corn on the cob, and the shiitake dumplings were good (ask for the sauce on the side if you're at ALL iffy about spice level). Only one vegan dessert but it was great so not too bothered. I won't get the squash katsu again - found it a bit bland, would stick with the cauliflower.

Great space, not enough vegan options - Edit
I love this space so much! They went plant based in 2020 and had lots of great vegan options, but since the menu changed there are less vegan options available which is strange.

This is vegetarian haute cuisine. Unfortunately not many vegan options. The food is terrific with amazing taste combinations. Highly recommended. Prices to match.

Year of veg - Edit
This restaurant has gone vegetarian for 1 year. They can do most (but disappointingly not all) meals vegan. The feed me menu was a lot of fun. I recommend going and supporting this initiative, even though it’s not full vegan it’s the first time I’ve heard of a restaurant doing something like this!
