Mislabeled and unfriendly staff - Edit
Highly do not recommend this place (although there are pretty much no options for vegans at the airport which makes it difficult).
Read moreAfter reading previous reviews we asked the man out the front of the restaurant if there was milk in the curry. He said no and specifically no cows milk. We showed the Chinese translation which we’ve been using all through our travels which explains vegan - no meat, no eggs, no milk, no honey and he confirms.
When we got to the counter we ordered the curry (labeled vegan specifically) and the garlic stir dried vegetables and decided to confirm just one more time about the milk. The cashier said it has cows milk in it. So we cancelled that order and just got the vegetables. We tried to explain nicely that the menu is mislabeled and it is not vegan if it has cows milk but she did not understand.
Once we received the vegetables they had a little oily broth at the bottom so we were a bit worried they may have been cooked in some kind of meat broth. So my partner went back to ask and they guy at the front came over and just kept pointing to the vegetarian menu and saying ‘vegetarian’ and another guy was aggressively confirming it’s just vegetables. My partner was very friendly and just wanted to confirm considering the previous issues.
Anyway we did eat the vegetables and rice and they were quite plain. The overall experience, however, was very unpleasant.

Incorrectly labeled - Edit
The coconut curry is labeled vegan but they told me it has both coconut and dairy milk in the curry. The mushroom thai noodle soup I was told is vegan. Food is fresh and flavorful. But be wary of incorrect labels on their menu

It's fine - Edit
The spring rolls were a bit small but you can order a plain bowl of rice which is a decent size.
Read moreThe Chinese characters they use for the word vegan (素食) are also used for vegetarian in my experience, so idk. Probably vegan but yeah.
Pros: Clear vegan options

As good as one could expect - Edit
Saw 3 vegan options, went for the curry (254) and spring rolls (206). Very tasty and a decent portion size. Couldn’t ask for anything better.

Easy food before the flight - Edit
I was very happy to see that they had clearly labeled vegan options. Ordered the fried vegetables with extra rice, and while the food looked very different from the photo in the menu I loved the taste and the heavy garlic.
