The restaurant was lovely decorated and the food was really good, quick and for a fair price.
Read moreWe shared two starters and both ordered a bowl of ramen. This was a perfect portion. For starters we ordered the summer rolls and fried Wan Tan. Both were super delicious served with great sauces. My fiancé ordered Bun Bo Hue noodle soup which was super flavourful and we would definitely recommend this! I ordered the Pho which initially was a bit bland and disappointing, but after adding some fresh lime and soy sauce it was also a tasty soup, but I would not order it again.
The service was a bit weird. We speak quite some German and good English but their communication was not quite understandable. This made ordering confusing because we kept misunderstanding each other. They also seemed to be in a rush, or at least rushing us to order, even though the restaurant was only half full. The language barriers do not have to be a problem, but because of their rushed manner we just felt quite awkward. A more relaxed attitude would definitely help make the experience more pleasant!
Pros: Amazing starters, Bun Bo Hue noodle soup was delicious!, Lovely decorated
Cons: Rushed service with misunderstandings, Pho was quite bland, Would've liked to try the vegan duck as a starter!

Das Essen ist wirklich lecker und über die Auswahl kann man auch nicht meckern. Leider sitzt man ziemlich eng gedrungen und muss sich immer an anderen Tischen vorbeidrängen. Toilette ist auch prädestiniert für Stau.

Beautiful place, beautiful experience - Edit
The place had a great ambience and food presentation. I wanted to try many different things but they all had alliums so I just tasted two and mostly shared it with my friend. Would have been perfect if there were no allium options.

After reading all the positive reviews, I was quite underwhelmed when visiting My Hao. The food is decent, but both for me and my friend, it was rather far away from all the 5 star reviews this restaurant regularly gets. I even gave it a second chance the next day, but again the food didn’t convince me.
Read moreWe’ve tried all kinds of different dishes: Ramen, Sushi, Curry and Nasi Goreng. None of those really stood out in a positive way. I think that especially in the Asian cuisine there are many better plant-based restaurants to visit.

Vegan Option Close to the Touristic Region - Edit
Restaurant with an excellent location, very close to the tourist areas. Also close to the "Lorenzkirche" subway station. The food was good and well seasoned. We ordered "Gyoza" as a starter, and "Bun Bo Hue" and "Pho" as main courses. The dish was reasonable and enough for one person. The waitress, despite being short on words, was able to communicate in English. The only downside was the service, as the waitress was not at all friendly and seemed rather impatient.

Nós pedimos de entrada a “Gyoza”, e de pratos principais “Bun Bo Hue” e “Pho”. O prato era razoável e suficiente para uma pessoa. A atendente, apesar de ser de poucas palavras, conseguia se comunicar em inglês. O único ponto negativo foi o atendimento, pois a atendente não foi nada simpática e pareceu bastante impaciente.

Bamigoreng for the win - Edit
I had the Bamigoreng and the deep fried WanTans and the Bamigoreng was amazing. It was a good portion size and only fresh ingredients. Very very tasty overall. The WanTans for the entree were good too. It is useful the reserve a table as it‘s usually really crowded.

We actually didn't wanna have a second east-Asian meal but at 20:30, My Hao was the only option. Intrigued by the sushi options, we took duck, Vietnamese sausage (wrapped in bacon), and tofu, and were very happy with all of them. The ginger-mint-lemongrass drink was also nice and refreshing.

I was amazed that this place offers entirely vegan food, big menu with a lot of dishes, we tried pho soup and friend noodles with veggies and tofu and everything was very tasty, highlu recommend and we will definifely come back!

Das Essen hier war richtig gut. Ich würde sogar behaupten das beste Vegane essen ganz Nürnberg. Hier muss auf nichts verzichtet werden. Die Preise sind auch gut und nicht zu teuer. Das Personal war auch freundlich. Kann ich absolut empfehlen!
