I was very excited to go here because of all the 5-star reviews but was somewhat disappointed. I thought the flavours were a bit bland and missed freshness (talking about the taste, not implying the food wasn't fresh) We paid €100 for two persons. Wouldn't visit again but maybe Japanese is just not my cup of tea.

Best vegan dining out - Edit
Although my wife speaks a little French and I speak almost none, we managed to cope with the help of a non-English-speaking waitress, who was charming and patient and explained the menu process to us. We had three entrees and a main plate, each of which was tasty, beautifully presented and very satisfying.
Read moreThere was minimal wait between plates, although the restaurant was very quiet the evening we ate there. We managed to eat everything using chopsticks, a skill we rarely practice. There was even an entree featuring vegan sushi! We felt it was the most flavoursome, imaginative and varied vegan meal we had ever had when dining out. At 33 Euros each for the four courses, it was also good value.
If you are in south east France we would highly recommend you check out this cool, laid back establishment.
Pros: Delicious, Imaginative, Varied
Cons: Language barrier bit tricky. Our lack, not theirs.

Delicious Asian fusion lunch buffet - Edit
We had lunch buffet that is super flavorful. Lots of vegetables and tofu. Mix of warm and cold dishes and 2 types of fried snacks. Staff is very kind but doesn’t speak English. You pay € 19 for the food excluding dessert. So don’t go here if you aren’t that hungry;)

Super restaurant chinois végé/vegan, le soir on vous propose un menu à 30€ en 4 services où il faut choisir entre deux plats à chaque fois, ou à la carte. Apparement le midi il y a un buffet, à vérifier.

Le Namo Toyodoo propose un buffet avec plat chauds et froids. Certains mêlent délicatement le sucré et le salé. Tout était vraiment excellent ! De même que le dessert végane, une coupe de purée de mangue (avec boule de glace), qui a parfaitement terminé le repas. J'ai adoré et recommande vivement la découverte de ce restaurant

Not sure why this place is marked as vegetarian since everything was vegan.
Read moreIt was one of the few that was open during the month of August. The buffet was small but oh so mighty in flavor and freshness. They refilled all the different dishes frequently, so you had the chance to try it all.
The place itself is cute and you get fresh water as much as you want.
Not sure how it is at dinner time, but lunch was super delicious.

Plats excellents et buffet varié, mais ce n’est pas à 100% vegan comme indiqué, les desserts ne le sont pas et je suspecte qu’il y ai du miel dans un des plats. (Aussi le café est servi avec un chocolat au lait donc il faut préciser sans)

passer la porte du Namo Toyodoo, c’est commencer son voyage par l’apaisement de la décoration ambiante, sobre & épurée tout en rendant l’atmosphère chaleureuse. chaque membre du personnel fera de son mieux pour vous mettre à l’aise avec tact et vous faire passer le plus doux moment possible (et leur humilité palpable ne les rend que plus adorables). lorsque votre plat arrive (service rapide et le staff saura vous conseiller au mieux), l’émerveillement commence visuellement, par la finesse et le raffinement du dressage. la vaisselle unique et authentique est sélectionnée avec soin et saura sublimer chaque plat, que vous dégusterez avec délice. les portions sont généreuses et on ressort du restaurant avec un beau sourire aux lèvres, le ventre repus et déjà, la hâte d’une prochaine fois.

This vegan buffet in the city center had many options to choose from and the food was delicious. Price for all-you-can-eat was €17,50. Place was nice and clean. The only critique I have is that the ambiance was a bit boring, no music. So the restaurant had this awkward silence the whole time. Other than that, I highly recommend this place.

So happy to find this place today, delicious freshly made food, lovely cool restaurant on a hot day. Staff were so kind, gave the kids free vegan ice cream and food came very quickly. 100% recommended. Resto calme, cool et accueillant. La nourriture était délicieuse et les plats à emporter étaient prêts rapidement.

Le restaurant a visiblement fait peau neuve et décidé de devenir complètement végétarien. La plupart des plats sont vegans, à un tel point qu’on est presque déçu de découvrir un cheesecake à base de... fromage. L’equipe est très souriante, le menu découverte copieux permet de découvrir presque toute la carte si on est deux à se partager les plats, et le service est rapide. Presque trop rapide... nombreuses variations autour du Tofu. À recommander sans hésiter !!

We went to Toyodoo for my birthday and the place fulfilled all our expectations !
Read moreThe restaurant is completely vegan, meaning you don't have to be afraid eating fish (nuoc mam sauce) or meat (beef/ chicken stock) by mistake.
We had the 25 euros menu with a wide range of starters (3 if I correctly remember), a couple of dishes and a dessert.
We especially appreciated the diversity between the starters (warm, cold, raw, soup etc.) and the fact that we did not feel "heavy" after the dinner.
Everything was delicious, tasteful (i.e. not too spicy/ fat) and fresh (and well-) prepared. We especially loved the nems, the makis, the eggplant curry and the mango-yogurt dessert.
The staff is also very friendly, always smiling and taking care of its guests. The place is cosy, calm and well and simply decorated. The location is also great.
I would recommend you to come with a couple of people rather than with a huge and noisy group.
We will of course come back to taste the rest of the menu (although we had a nice overview of it !), which is not that long since everything is fresh-prepared and "mastered" by the cooker(s).

Le restaurant a récemment fait peau neuve, pour le plus grand bonheur de ses client-e-s, et est devenu un restaurant quasiment gastronomique !
Read moreVous pourrez déguster des spécialités asiatiques excellentes : nems, gyoza, gulao... Les portions sont certes petites mais parfaites, les goûts sont équilibrés.
Pour un menu découverte avec quatre plats plus un amuse bouche, un dessert, et un cocktail alcoolisé (tellement bon !!!) nous avons payé 30€, ce qui est très honnête par rapport à la qualité.
Le midi, un buffet à volonté d'entrées est proposé.
De plus, le serveur est très gentil, et l'endroit très beau et agréable.
Pros: Tout est vegan, La délicatesse des plats (goût et présentation) , La gentillesse du serveur
Cons: Parfois bruyant s'il y a beaucoup de monde.
