A quiet place for lunch in a busy area - Edit
A good place for lunch with good food and delicious coffee. The place is cosy and the staff is friendly. We chose a few dishes and all were good.

Tranquil vegan haven - Edit
Set on a first floor walk up, this neat and spacious fully vegan restaurant packs quite a punch.
Read moreI'm always glad to find places that are confident enough to produce a concise and reduced menu, typically meaning that they offer a more sustainable and recently sourced fare.
This is certainly the case at NamuL. The staff radiate an endearing vibe of peacefulness, adding immensely to the dining experience.
Outstanding dishes include;
· Barley miso noodles.
· Brown rice veggies
· Tempeh snack
· Onigiri (excellent)
Also worth mentioning the Kombucha and Organic Afogato.
Pros: Fresh ingredients, Peaceful, Fairly priced
Cons: Shabby toilets

Left somewhat hungry and dissatisfied - Edit
This was not enjoyable. The buffet spread looked pitiful, the Korean pancake was tasteless, oily and undercooked. I didn't bother eating it. No kimchi available. Food was served with a strange tasting miso sauce, no Korean flavors. Would not recommend.

Korean Food? - Edit
I'm not sure if the staff have ever actually tried Korean food. I can't say the bibimbap (in name only) was bad (the spicy beet was an odd but nice flavor), but the pancake was inedible. A little pricy. Bibimbap served with wooden chopsticks and a soup spoon. Extremely odd. The food is made with care towards presentation.

Delicious surprise - Edit
Found this cafe on the way to REXKL (a cultural center on the same street: Jalan Sultan). Had a really nice lunch with Korean pancake, nasi lemak and Kombucha. Loved the bitter sauce with potato in nasi lemak. The sambal (the red chili in nasi lemak) had a unique taste which I guessed was passion fruit.

All vegan - Korean options - Edit
This café/restaurant on the upper floor in china town serves delicious food, either typical Malaysian fare or dishes from Korea/Japan. I had the Nasi Lemak and thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately, their desserts were almost sold out.

Delicious vegan buffet - Edit
Really nice and cosy vegan Cafe. Both of us ate the vegan buffet. You pay 3RM for 100g. We really tried every bit of it and all of it was delicious! Especially the fried tempeh! The owners are very friendly. You wouldn't expect this small Cafe in that unfortunately dirty road of KL. It's really worth going there!

Good menu - Edit
Went to Namul for lunch one day; I had the Nasi Lemak (RM12) and a glass of kombucha while a friend had a ramen soup. We both really enjoyed our meals and would definitely return to try other items on the menu.

Delicious - Edit
I think limited menu is unfair especially when 100% is vegan. My mum had the Japanese set menu and we tried as many of the smaller dishes as possible and it was delicious. Really fresh and tasty and healthy. Nice setting , shame about no wifi so couldn't plan where to go next.

Food wasn’t tasty at all :( - Edit
Sadly, I cannot recommend this place when it comes to food. It’s nice, clean, the stuff is very kind etc. We ordered few positions from the menu, including Nasi Lemak, Miso Noodle Soup, Ramen, Onigiri...the rice was dry, there was just a few drops of soy souce. It was cold. Everything was a bit tasteless...only Korean pancakes was ok. Lot’s of things to work on

How I Would Do It.... - Edit
I always think it is better to have a small menu that you can do really well rather than filling it with mediocre or impossible-to-serve-fresh dishes. There's only like ten items here but everything looked really good. The kitchen is in sight so you can actually see everything cooked to order.
Read moreFood is local with a few East Asian dishes thrown in. Can't think of anything on the menu that wasn't mostly healthy. They also dealt well with customer requests. Also, the place itself is just so cute and welcoming. Can't believe we missed this on our other KL visits. Highly recommended.
Pros: Great Environment. Really Homely., Small Menu That Works For Them., Friendly And Welcoming Staff.
Cons: "Rustic" Approach To Bathrooms., Stairs To Climb., Central KL. Parking Non-Existent Or Expensive.

I ordered Nasi Lemak and it was a delight for the eyes and also the tongue. I missed the peanuts, but it was a very tasty meal. The cafe has quite a lot of options and is decorated nicely and gives a peaceful vibe.

The best vegan place I've ever eaten at - Edit
I will start with owners. Besides amazing skills in cooking, very kind and humble people, they create peaceful and balanced space. Food was literally the best vegan food I've ever had in my life. I don't know what they do but it works miracles! This is a real experience! Must visit when in Kuala Lumpur!
