Yummy & affordable

Always a must visit to this cafe for meals if we go Queensway shopping centre.
Consistent food quality each time we visit. Clean and neat cafe with ample parking lots at the car park in front of cafe.

Pros: Fish curry, Western selection, Fried wantons

Very small serving

Ordered the Korean hot stone rice n was unpleasantly surprised to see the portion is small for $11.90. The sauce is not the red Korean gohchujang and doesn’t have the Korean hot stone rice taste

Service is prompt but it was quite empty when I arrived.

Value for money

Full points on : Ambience, food serving in artistic way, staff, variety in menu.
Off course we were only two persons and ordered total 4 dishes, with spicy level. Which we found was more like lower mild level.
But definitely we will be visiting again to try other menu items specially hot pot

Pros: Lots of options, Food presentation, Staff, and they check about egg, allergies etc.

Cons: Spicy level was low.. toned down the food taste

Many options to suit all palettes

Went on a Sunday for lunch and found that the cafe isn't packed with diners. The menu is quite extensive, with dishes from various cuisines available.

Ordered the monkey head bibimbap which came in a stone pot that leaves rice slightly scorched at the bottom, reminiscent of claypot rice. The sambal queen was good tbut would have benefited from a more generous helping of petai beans.

Pros: Vegan options clearly labeled, Lots of choices available

MSG-Free

Allium-free and MSG-free vegetarian eatery. Vegan items are labelled. The dishes I ordered were somewhat forgettable. Would probably try the stone pot / hot plate dishes next time!

Nature Cafe

dine-in before and ordered delivery too, wasn't impress with the delivered food - disappointed.

Went back to try the food again and surprised that they have improved or maybe some dishes are just not nice while some are good.

Pros: big menu, No MSG

Cons: Slightly expensive,

Wrong order served but fail to accept the mistake

I ordered fish curry but was served mutton curry. When i asked the staff she insisted that it was indeed fish curry which i very well know was a lie since fish curry they never put potatoes and the one served to me had lot of potatoes. She then took it back to kitchen removed all the potatoes tossed in some soya and brought it back saying that it was fish curry only. By that time the curry is already cold and half of the quantity is reduced. Instead of acknowledging that they served wrongly they just pretend to show that i was wrong though they go in and replace the items in the curry.

Cons: Customer Handling

Vegan staples at higher prices

Good range of Asian vegan dishes, mostly rice and noodle based. The food is tasty but quite highly priced for what it is (there are places in Singapore that sell similar dishes for less). It was disappointing that they are still using plastic straws with a namesake like Nature Cafe. Was hoping they might have a clearer stance on practices that many cafes in countries less developed than Singapore are already taking on board. Their take-out was also in plastic tubs and bags. Their shop next door has some vegan goods, many from Taiwan with really high price tags. They also charge 60c for each cup of tap water (the people at the table next to me ordered this). Hope Nature Cafe can adopt a more nature conscious attitude and consider their sourcing of goods and pricing and hope their business really is more than a niche profit making venture.

Pros: All vegan, large menu, Large space

Cons: Expensive for what it is, Some staff are a bit tuned out, others are great , Still using plastic straws

Healthy vegetarian food

Been looking for healthy vegetarian food around this area. I tried the burdock herbal noodle soup, kuey zup, Lohan vege and their signature tofu. Excellent dishes and it digested very nicely. No bloated or uncomfortable feeling after the meal. No MSG too I think. Reasonable prices and lots of variety available. Very happy with my meal.

Pros: Appears to be healthier vegetarian food, Many dishes to choose from, Opens early in time for sangha lunch dana

Affordable Local Food

Nature Cafe has a large menu of mostly local food - they do have some western dishes. The restaurant is nice and service is prompt. The food here is very reasonably priced as most dishes are $5-$7. Portion sizes are great. Their menu is labeled (some dishes contain dairy) and there are lots of vegan options. We especially like the Roasted Chicken Rice, Wanton Noodle Soup and Fried Carrot Cake. I have also enjoyed the Black Pepper Noodles. They have occasionally run out of items I wanted to order, but the menu is large enough that there is always another option. The food is tasty and not overly salty. It is definitely a good option for trying local Singaporean dishes done all vegetarian.

Pros: Affordable

affordable, delicious food

Previously, the eatery was more of a neighbourhood vegetarian zichar/caipng and catering company, and now after the renovation it became more like a restaurant.

The interior of the restaurant is split into two areas: one half are meant for the tables and the half for takeaways and sale of vegetarian products. The menu has changed to one similar to their other restaurants in Aperia Mall and CT Hub with items like porridges and hot stone bowls.

I had the Lion Mane Mushroom Rice 铁锅猴头菇 which came with a burning stove. The taste was a little bit herbal and it's not spicy even with all the dried chilis in it. Portion is just enough for one person.

👇🏼
Also tried the Hot Almond Paste dessert. The only disappointment being that it wasn't thick enough, it's like a soup dessert instead of a thick gooey paste.

On the 2nd time I was here after their renovation, I got to try more dishes with a Friend.
We had 4 rice and noodle dishes

1. Stone Pot Monkey Head Mushroom Rice.
You might imagine this to be Korean style, but it's not. The gochujang red paste sauce isn't authentic, more like extra sweet SOS Chili. Toppings for the hot stone dish were mostly sweet corn. Sweet sweet, not good

2. Hong Kong Style Claypot Chicken Rice. Savoury hot Claypot dish with fragrant dark soy sauce - its got my favourite charred bits at the bottom!

3. Zhajiangmian / Braised Meat Noodles
Noodles with fresh cucumbers and bean sprouts covered with braised 'meat' sauce. It smelled amazing when it arrived at our table.
It might have contain peanuts

4. Curry Udon
Delicious spicy curry with Udon noodles. I could go for seconds!

97% vegan!

The minority’s of the menu that has a ‘milk bottle symbol’ contains milk but the rest of the menu is vegan. Mock meat and vegetable dishes. It’s inside in the AC and a lovely atmosphere. They opened in 2001 and really know what they’re doing. It’s cheap. $5-$12 a fish. Great value.

Pros: satay. Korean fried rice, western dishes. wonton Noodle Soup , hot pot (stone and metal). credit cards accepted.

Cons: can’t think of anything right now.
