Superb! - Edit
We took the day off to go from Brussels to Luxembourg and chose this restaurant. It's a simple place, but very welcoming. We decided to eat the "all you can eat buffet", and no regrets😄I ate twice, as my hubby. The food is a flavour explosion, so good and fresh! Simple Indian food made with heart and lots of herbs/spices. They have plenty cakes to offer as dessert, and I tried the carrot caramel cake. It is simply wonderful! Soft, moist, with the caramel icing... A dream. They provide also tap water for free. The staff is very nice, warm and friendly. The owner said that it is a lady who bakes all the cakes and sells there. Clean facilities and all tables have sockets to charge your mobile phone/laptop/tablet, cuz lots of workers/students nearby usually have lunch there. And cheap! Very fair price! 10/10! The best Indian restaurant ever!

Cons: Nothing! Simply go!

Freshly prepared food. Great flavors - Edit
I went here twice, first for the buffet and second for dinner. The all-you-can-eat buffet had a delicious spinach salad with olives, battered eggplant, red bean curry, dahl and green bean potato curry with rice. At €9.50, it's an absolute bargain in Luxembourg and all the food was quite tasty. Dinner was equally as good but a lot more expensive. We ate momos (the waiting time said 40 minutes but it was quicker than that), cauliflower curry and chole chickpea curry with a yummy fry bread. Nothing felt very oily like is often the case with Indian food. The owner is friendly and the service is good. We stayed later than closing and he even gave us a free piece of cake with our kulfi. The pistachio kulfi was really good although it is quite a small portion for the price, but the flavors are delightful if you're a cardamom fan.

Honest fare done well - Edit
I normally wouldn't go for Indian food on holiday since I can get it whenever but I passed this on the way from the station and although from outside it doesn't look like too much I really fancied it, and I'm glad I did. The bloke doing the serving had a remarkably calm and respectful demeanour about him. I had a curry with a roti and asked for it hot, and he asked how hot out of three levels, so I asked him to do it how he likes to have it and, fair play to him, it was exactly right. He also brought some spicy pickle just in case and some mint chutney just in the other case so I added pickle for two helpings and chutney for the third. Just a nice time was had and the food was spot on. I'd have the mango lassi fed intravenously if I could. Cost €19.90 for all that and a mango pudding, suspiciously similar to the lassi at first but excellent.

Tasty Indian food. Friendly staff.
Read moreWe choose different entrees. That way you can try different dishes.
We had Pakoras, parantha, samosa, momo and veggie curry.
For 3 person I paid €47,00 and we had more than enough!
Cons: Many tables are at the door. The result is an ice, cold wind with every customer that comes in.

Had the Cauliflower Masala, and it was really good! The people working there were so friendly. It is good food and quantity for the price, usually it’s more expensive in Luxembourg.

Vegan food as it should be - Edit
We visited this restaurant 2 years ago, and were blown away. So when we were in Luxembourg again, we decided to check it out again.
Read moreAnd we were not dissapointed! The food is delicious, fresh and reasonably priced. And oh yes, they have vegan mango lassi. That alone is a reason to go there. Also, when we could not finish al the delish food we ordered, we got a take away-container to take it.
It warms my heart to see that the restaurant is well visited (we were early, but when we left the restaurant was almost full) and that its still going strong since we last visited.
Pros: Mango Lassi!, Delish food, lovely staff
Cons: Its in Luxembourg, and we do not live there

100% worth it - Edit
Cozy place with all-vegan Indian food. The menu is limited but all items looked delicious so it was hard to make a choice. Very reasonably priced for large portions: we had starters, main dish, drinks and tea for less than 20 Euros pp. Friendly and fast service. Also highly recommend the chai latte, the spices are on point.

Amazing experience - Edit
If you are thinking of going to this place 100% put it high on your list. The atmosphere, food, and staff were all exceptional. My mom and I were happy to see that this place was open on a Sunday. Staff members greeted us upon walking in and was very attentive. We got the lunch buffet which is soooooo good! You can choose from 4 curries, salad, rice, and tempura veggies. Worth it!! My mom and I hade an amazing experience. Located on the corner of 2 major streets you can’t miss it.

Nirvana Cafe is easily reachable by foot from the main train station. Their staff is very friendly, and they offer lunch buffet with a great variety of yummy dishes for 9,50€. Also try their awesome Mango Lassi for 3€ (small one) or 5€ (big one).
