Cozy - Edit
Food is good! Vegan options are especially marked in the menu. We had the lemongrass tofu, tempeh with chickpeas and pumpkin (which was a huge portion together with rice) and the tapioka banana cake.
Read moreNice atmosphere, they have a terrace on the second floor, english music from 70s/80s is played.

Boring - Edit
The vegan burger was boring. I read about mayonaise here, but it was not written in the menu, so while ordering I said my burger should be without sauce and cheese.
Read moreThey obviously forgot the avocado (my girlfriend had it on the vegetarian burger) and the patty scrambled in thousand pieces as I was taking the first bite. The overall taste was just boring (1 star for the mass usage of garlic though).
So concerning the other reviews, my burger was an accident but for now, I can't rate it better.

Scrummy!!!! - Edit
Really nice vegan burger with fries, and they also have vegan deserts. The menu has a V next to all vegan food and they speak English well. Restaurant has a lovely setting, really cute with lanterns. A must !!

Beautiful decor and attentive staff - Edit
My boyfriend and I visited here for lunch after viewing the Citadel (Nook is less than 20 mins walk from the Citadel exit).
Read morePlenty of choice for vegetarians and some vegan options too. My bf had tofu pho, iced coffee, passion fruit juice and banana tapioca pudding. I had tempeh and chickpeas with pumpkin (served with rice and small salad), iced Jasmine tea and a mint choc chip ice cream. We shared some vegetarian spring rolls.
Our food arrived promptly but was made fresh (I could see the lady making it in the kitchen). It was all delicious, portions were generous and the mains/sides were piping hot. The whole meal came to about 420,000VND (just under £15) which we felt was good value for the atmosphere and the quality of the food.
Staff were attentive but not overbearing. The place was decorated nicely and everything was clean (including the bathroom). They are environmentally conscious and use metal straws and offer filtered water in glass bottles rather than plastic.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would go back if we were staying longer.
We would give this place 5/5 but HappyCow won't let us because it's not fully vegan/vegetarian
Pros: Delicious food - decent portions, Reasonably priced :), Lovely decor and attentive, polite staff
Cons: We were a bit warm but it was 38 degrees outside!

Varied options and nice interior - Edit
Nice variety of marked vegan options both Western and Asian. Popular with tourists. The pho was very tasty as was the coconut coffee. Staff were friendly and seemed pretty knowledgable on veganism.

Great way to start a day - Edit
I loved the breakfast bowl with granola. It offered something different (to all the standard vietnamese breakfasts).

Nice vegan Pattie - Edit
If you’re on the hunt for a burger the one here is pretty good (just remove cheese and mayo sauce from the veggie). The tapioca and banana dessert was fantastic, first great vegan dessert I’ve had in a while. Service was efficient and friendly. If you’re on a strict budget this is probably a place to avoid. Thought the location down the alley was really smart and the seating upstairs had a nice atmosphere.

Nice if you’re craving western food - Edit
We went there after being ill and just craving some French fries. The fries were absolutely delicious (I just wish there was more of them). Also had the vegetarian burger (removed cheese and mayo to make vegan). The burger has lots of flavour but the patty is very soft and falls out. We also had the vegan banana tapioca cake for dessert. Was less of a cake and more of a pudding but it was tasty. Service and atmosphere was good but this was by far the most expensive meal we’ve had in Vietnam. The prices were nearly the same as back home (about $15AUD each), but worth the money if you need a break from Vietnamese food
Read morePros: Food has lots of flavour , They serve filtered water to be eco friendly , The fresh juices are great
Cons: Pricey , Fries portion could be bigger

Be careful - Edit
Food and service is good but, be careful and ask questions. They are able to answer questions and list ingredients. Fried potatoes marked as vegan on the menu came with a sauce mixed with mayo. Iced coconut coffee has unneeded sweet milk (it's fine without it) and the whipped cream on top was a shocker, but they say it's just coconut cream and ice. Vegan patty salad was a great entree choice.

Absolutely delicious! - Edit
Good music, decoration and general atmosphere. Fantastic staff.
Read moreFood was on point. Had the vegetarian breakfast and my friend had the corn cakes with scrambled eggs. Suffice to say, portion size was grand considering the relatively low price (when considering Western prices for the same amount). Couldn't fault the food, and the drinks were good too. Had the nutty Nana and it was what I needed early in the morning.
Would come back later in the day to try dinner here as well!

The best vegetarian burger! - Edit
This vege burger is so delicious! It has cheddar cheese so not suitable for vegans (although you can ask the staff to remove it i guess as the CAN speak English :)). I also saw menu for breakfasts and seemed tempting and in good price, but unfortunately we were leaving the same evening. The place has also cool interior, a little hard to find (turn into small street and then again hidden inside in the backyard) but definitely worth looking for.

Okay! - Edit
Really nice setting, good vibe! Not that many obvious options, a few things that could be adapted. Almond Butter and Banana toastie was a bit disappointing. Lots of smoothies and juices to choose from.

Me and my boyfriend really liked it here. Have been back 3 times now and have always had the tofu yellow curry which is sooo good. The only downside is that it's quite expensive.

Came twice, good veggie burger / curry - Edit
Partner and I came to the Nook twice while in Hue. Overall a great place. Super friendly staff that are very attentive and always have a smile on.
Read moreFood was pretty great as well. Veggie burger is good, extra 20k for fries. Yellow Curry always was good, although not much actual soup/broth, mostly vegetables. Place is a bit pricier compared to others, but still worth the cost I think. Our meals and drinks together were usually 250-350k.
Pros: Lots of Vegan/Vegetarian Great staff Cute puppies
Cons: Slightly more expensive

Delicious!! - Edit
The prior review still stands, they were out of almond butter. So instead, we got the banana Nutella sandwich... they were out of toast and said we can have it either on a wrap or English muffin, we chose English muffin and it was delicious!!!! Hints of cinnamon, very yummy. We also ordered the vegetarian burger that everyone raved about (with cheese) and it was really really great.

amazing salad with vegan pattie! - Edit
Really cool restaurant! The interior is really cool and pretty and the staff is super friendly
Read moreThey have a vegan burger, and you can order the vegan pattie on a salad which was sooo good! Just what I needed after months of sticky rice. The portion was a bit small though.
They have vegan desserts too!! I tried the banana tapioca cake in sweet coconut milk which was so delicious!
Their breakfast menu looks also good: grilled sandwich with homemade almond butter and banana. I tried to order it as dessert but unfortunately they were out of almond butter.
Pros: vegan burger , vegan desserts , super friendly staff
Cons: they were out of the homemade almond butter , small portion

Careful for Fish Sauce! - Edit
Great quality juices and smoothies, and on the face of it, a great vegan menu....
Read moreHowever! On further questioning, everything on the vegetarian local menu has fish sauce in it. Unfortunately they were unable to modify the recipe for me :(, so ended up being a typical westerner and getting the veggie burger (without cheese.) This was excellent, it was just a shame I was unable to have the tofu Pad Thai.
Pros: Amazing smoothies., Good burger.
Cons: Fish sauce in vegetarian dishes!
