It'll do

Limited vegan options but fine for a work social where the focus is not the food.

It's inexpensive - the mushroom tart I had was £8.50, which is less than I'd expect to pay anywhere these days. Also nice to have an option of something other than a curry. It was very busy for a Wednesday night! The beer was also less than £5 a pint, which is cheap by current standards.

Service is pretty quick, although the staff are very busy all the time. We were instructed to leave the table soon after we'd eaten, so this isn't a place to sit and socialise once the food is finished.

All in all it was better than I'd expected it to be but not somewhere I'd choose to rush back to.

Pros: The option of a savoury tart rather than a curry!, Very inexpensive , Has parking

Cons: Menu is meat heavy so beware for anyone distressed, Could do with more options
