The Best CP value Western Vegetarian/Vegan Cafe in Hoi An

For CP value, which is an overall rating for the cost-to-price ratio, I found Nourish to be the best among the several similar Western Cafes in Hoi An.

The number one thing is their food quality is impeccable. I have tried many of their dishes on different days in a span of a few months and I was never disappointed. They always maintain their food quality to a high standard. By the way, their vegan scramble tofu has the best texture and taste I have ever tasted.

Their staff is hospitable and friendly which makes you feel they enjoy their work. This is important. Because you don't want to be served by people with a grumpy face and an unhappy heart.

I love their seating environment, there is the open garden, as well as the indoor space and there is even a co-work space on the 2nd floor. However, the indoor space is too hot in the summer given that there is no AC.

The only thing I wish they could change is their closing hour (at 4 PM). I am sure I will frequent Nourish more if it opens in the evening.

Pros: All the food is good quality and priced reasonably, Super friendly staff

Cons: They close at 4 PM, No AC, Too crowded sometimes

Top Notch

I come here all the time! The menu is fantastic and so is the service. Upstairs is good for coworking. My favorites are the falafel bowl (it’s massive) and the brekkie burger! There’s an aerial silk studio in the back and small shop inside the restaurant with some cute stuff.

Loved it!

Great space for digital nomads like us! And great menu - we tried the cauliflower tacos and the vegan fish tacos and both were amazing (cauliflower one was better though!)
It is a completely vegetarian spot and anything on the menu can be made vegan! We love Vietnamese food but it was also nice to get a little break from the local cuisine and change our meals to a little bit!

Really nice food, a little pricey

The food was nice - I had a smoothie bowl and a burger — the latter being better. The smoothie bowl was a beetroot based one and I could taste it, not that it was bad but not really my cup of tea. The food was super filling and the sweet potato fries were amazing. The cafe was super hectic which was nice to see but not a super relaxed atmosphere!

Beautiful place

Such a nice place with friendly staff and good food.
Been abroad for 6 weeks now and was talking about my soul food scrambled tofu for some days now.... so happy I got some delicious tofu scramble and even with sourdough bread here! Made my day.
They also have good coffee and first time I could try the Vietnamese coconut coffee because they offer vegan condensed milk.
There is a coworking floor upstairs for those who need some work done.
Will definitely come back a couple times during my stay in Hoi An.

Pros: Good food, coworking floor, welcoming and friendly staff

Western favorite

I would definitely say to eat local food as much as you can while in hoi an, as most of the time it's far superior to the Western places. That said, Nourish was lovely, a real digital nomad focused spot with good food and vibes.

Good Drinks & Food

Nice Place with a lot of vegan Options. The cake, juices and smoothie were really good! Highlight was that they had the Vietnamese coffee with vegan condensed milk, so we could try it for the first time. Sweet but yummy.

Cute spot outside

A little outside from the noise and busy streets, which we really enjoyed. They have various options for vegans and a nice interior design. You can also buy some accessories in the store (of course I did that..) after your meal. We had the greek salad and fish taco - both were amazing. Would go there again if I’m ever in Hoi An.

Awesome selection

Cool place, full of tourists, quite busy, so the food might take a while, but it’s worth it! The portions can be a little small if you’re very hungry and also bit of a shame that they changed the menu so that the burgers no longer come with fries (you have to pay 60k extra).

The nourish bowl was delicious, plenty of falafel, plenty of tahini dressing, i loved it! The hola hola was a little bit small but the raw chocolate and almond cake made up for it!

Worth a visit!

Pros: Delicious food, Friendly staff (will refill your water), Very pleasant atmosphere

Cons: Menu changed, not for the better, Some portions were quite small, Not the cheapest option, BUT worth it!

Hi Mat, thank you for leaving us an enthusiastic review and visiting our eatery.

Apologise for the fact that our staff didn't offer the fries on the side for 25.000 VND. We indeed changed the menu slightly (as many customers were not able to finish the fries), although prices have remained the same. A burger with fries before was 125.000 or 120.000 VND and now we charge 95.000 for a burger and 25.000 for the fries. If you order the fries of 60.000 is will be a bigger portion.

Last but not least, the Halo Halo should have had more cauliflower.. Visit us again and we will make it right!

Warm regards,

Frank

Amazing little place in Hoi An

So so many vegan options. The breakfast tacos (photo) were truly amazing! Choicr between scrambled egg or scrambled tofu, as is the choice for some of the other dishes. All but I think one dish is vegan. Vegan fish burger also really good. Other things on the menu are scrambled tofu on toast, falafel burger, oats, hummus with vegan feta, and many others. Have plant milk options.

Pros: Superveel vegan opties, Ontzettend smaakvol, Vriendelijke bediening

Lots of vegan options!

Tranquil, quiet spot in town. Not strictly vegan menu however most things are able to be made vegan. Their salad bowls are my favourite, especially the sweet & spicy cauliflower wings as the protein option. Amazing coffee too, with the option of coconut milk for vegans! Vegan chocolate cookie was delish too 😋

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Quiet location , Very friendly staff

Food I have not seen on menus in vietnam before (vegan tatziki and feta etc)

This place is gorgeous for breakfast/ lunch. The menu has so many delicious options that I was so interested in trying. I think the fish burger was my favourite. Most things are vegan on the menu (or vegan option available). Do be careful though, I ordered something with vegan feta, and first my dish had actual feta which I picked up on. They then just took that feta off and put vegan feta on my meal, meaning that there was still crumbs of real cheese on my plate, once I explained they brought me out a new salad. Despite this incident, I would definitely go back again, just double check what is put in front of me.

Pros: Mostly vegan menu, Vegan options for everything- mayo/ feta/ tatziki, Delicious

Cons: Accidental real cheese issue

Hi Lucy, thank you for leaving us a review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the food.

I'd like to apologise for the incident, we should have brought you a new salad straight away. I remember it was a busy week, but this can't be an excuse.

Thank you for letting us know, this way we can improve and prevent it from happening next time!

Amazing Vegan food 🤤

Really lovely place for breakfast/lunch. So many things to try here and the staff were lovely. There was a constant flow of customers while we were there so it's obviously a popular spot. We really enjoyed out fresh juices that were served in a big glass and our burgers were so tasty. Would definitely make the trip to Hoi An just to eat here again 😋

Pros: Many Vegan options , Beautiful location , Cute interior

needs more improvement - honest review

A few times I am not happy and feel unwelcomed because of the foreigner female owner and I had one not-so-good experience with her, not because of her personality, I feel like she is not so awared of how hospitality should be, and make me feel so unwelcomed. I wish every time I come to pay for that amount of money I would feel happy and relaxed. The other vietnamese staffs are very nice, cute and helpful though. Food is delicious and clean, sometimes the taste changes a bit, more salty or sweeter than usual I think but overall is healthy and menu is updated once in a while which is good. Wish for your growth and improvement.

Hey Trang again,

It's nice to see you creating accounts and writing your first review on different platforms (Google, TripAdvisor and HappyCow). Why not leaving a review on Facebook too? ;-)

First at all, we don't have any foreign lady working in our restaurant. Second, it's suspicious to me that you've created new accounts on different platforms just to leave us a bad review(s).

Nevertheless we always want to improve, so it would be great to talk to you in person about your experience. The meal will be on me. Hope to welcome you at our restaurant again.

All the best,

Frank - owner
