Vegan Fast Food chain - yes!!!! - Edit
This place rocks. I love how friendly the staff were and, how customizable your food can be. When ordering, you can place your order with the staff or use one of the two kiosks available to patrons.
Read moreTheir breakfast options are available all day (nice!). We went with a Maple Crunch Breakfast Sammy, great sandwich combination of the english muffin, hash brown, tofu and, melty cheese! Next, we tried the Chickun Cordon Bleu, delicious hand formed seitan chickun filet, with ham, cheese and a perfect amount of mayo, enough to keep the bread from being dry but not so much that it was overwhelming.
We also ordered the Bacun Famous Melt with a chickpea patty. The staff were very careful to go over my order with me in case I wanted the sandwich sans bacun (contains gluten) and with a gluten free bun as well (the chickpea patty is their gluten free option so they were worried I might be gluten free, which I'm not, and wanted to ensure I placed my order correctly!) The chickpea patty, did not disappoint, with a wonderful flavor and crisp bite, coupled with their house-made bacun and secret sauce 🤤.
We ordered two additional items, one of which was the Smokey Pulled Jack Tater Tot Poutine. This is easily large enough to feed two people, all kinds of flavors happening there ... some kind of poutine magic! Last, but definitely not least .. the Strawberry Shortcake Sundae. I need to emphasize that Strawberry Shortcake was one of my favorite desserts growing up and even way before veganism was a thing, this dessert wasn't the easiest to get right because it takes the right balance of ice cream to strawberry goodness and the cake, the amount and consistency of the cake is always what makes or breaks this dessert. Well, if I'm being totally honest ...this was 1,000% spot on, exactly as I remember my favorite dessert to be from back in the day. There was plenty of cake .. but not too much, and it was just the right texture to balance with the dessert, no joke!
Odd Burgers has a number of locations throughout Canada. Locally, there's the one in Vancouver and another in Victoria. There's also a location in Calgary, one in Edmonton with another on the way, as well one in Regina (Saskatchewan) and quite a few throughout Ontario. That's good news because if you're visiting Canada, chances are there's one nearby to check out.
Pros: Attentive, friendly and caring stuff, Vegan fast food!, Breakfast, burgers (gf as well), and desserts!

Solid Fast Food - Edit
Enjoyed the burger combo with fries and a chocolate shake. Large portions. Reasonably priced. Only downside is the amount of wrapping going to the trash and no obvious place to recycle beverage containers.

PROPER vegan fast food - Edit
Since converting to vegan, I'd be lying if I was sad that almost all restaurants only offered 1 type of burger: plain with lettuce and tomato.... NOT ODD BURGER!!! Odd Burger has OPTIONS!
Read moreIt's proper fast food style too, not only in type of food, but in prices, too. 2 burgers, 1 topping add on, and one very sizeable portion of fries (more than enough for 2 people) was $36 AFTER tax and tip. Big fan!
Pros: Price, Options / selection, Great fries

Delicious, big portions! - Edit
We got the “Big Mac” inspired burger, fries, onion rings, & a milkshake and for the amount of food we got, the price was very worth it.
Read moreI would recommend not getting the middle bun when you order the “Big Mac” because it gets pretty bready, but without the middle bun it was delish.
The onion rings were made with red onions which I loved. And the milkshake was amazing!!!
We chatted with the owner/manager since it was their grand opening and they are all vegan and very very kind. So excited to go back!
