Nice, but Not a Must-Try - Edit
We stumbled upon Ole & Steen while wandering through a shopping center. I hadn’t heard of the chain before, but after seeing many positive reviews, I decided to give it a try.
Read moreThe space itself is very large, modern, and nicely designed. It smells amazing inside, and the bread and pastries look fantastic. Unfortunately, I only spotted the plant-based social and didn’t see any other vegan options (this might be day-dependent), but still a bit disappointing.
It was definitely tasty and nicely cinnamon-forward, but it didn’t quite wow me or live up to my expectations. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but for me it’s more of a nice if you’re nearby kind of place rather than a must-try.

Amazing vegan social, poor oat flat white. The flat white tasted burned and I had to throw it away.

Precious Review:
Ole & Steen has many locations around London. During Veganuary this year I had a vegan raspberry cheesecake and it was surprisingly delicious. The wait can be very long at this chain during peak hours.

Read moreThe raspberry was fine, meh but the vegan social is possibly one of the best sweet treats I've ever had. Think cinnamon bun, millionaire shortbread but with soft pastry dough.

Tasty cinnamon slice - Edit
Only three options for vegans in regards to sweet food, but the vegan cinnamon slice was insanely delicious. Priced quite highly but to be expected for a central location, and so I’m not sure I could make a habit of visiting here, but it was delicious none the less.

Only came for take away hot drinks. Got decaf oat milk cappuccinos which were good. The vegan cakes & sandwich looked great and was impressed with the available vegan options. Will try the food next time
