Vegan cheese not my taste - Edit
I was a bit disappointed by the grilled cheese sandwich. The tomato marmalade on the side was good, the sandwich itself tasted okay, but I've had better. The dish of the day, a spinach risotto, was dry and quite bland. The chocolate sesame cookie was fine. The place itself is cute.

The avo open face sandwich works as a starter or light meal and was very yummy, the brezel bun with vegan obazda (a typical bavarian cream cheese) and arugula reminded me again in rather avoiding lye-based pastries in restaurants, as they are never as freshly baked as in bakerys and therefore always a little more dry and less fluffy in texture.
Nevertheless taste was solid :)
My iced latte was good too!

Read moreI had the Grilled Cheeze Sandwich with Facon and loved it. The Banana Bread we ordered was probably the best I've had so far and the cinnamon rolls just came out of the oven when we arrived and were super tasty, too.
The service is very friendly and the prices are fair. I can see why this place is often very busy.
Pros: Vegan Cheeze. Wooot?! , That Banana Bread! , Cinnamon Rolls for the win!

So wie man andere Menschen behandelt, wird man auch selbst behandelt… Die Inhaber sind ein MEGA cooles Paar (nicht nur meine persönliche Erfahrung - siehe andere Bewertungen) und deinem Kommentar nach zu urteilen, hast du das Konzept dahinter überhaupt nicht verstanden, geschweige denn eine Ahnung von der Materie! Immer dieser (negative) Bewertungswahn, anstatt direkt mit den Leuten vor Ort zu sprechen oder einfach mal gut sein zu lassen. Du tust mir leid!

The restaurant has a great cheese toastie, good atmosphere, is very dog friendly, and has good service. We also tried the mac and cheese, strawberry cheesecake, flat white, and lemonade. The toastie was great, mac and cheese was good, and the lemonade was tangy. However, the cheesecake was a bit stiff. Overall, it's a great spot for a cozy lunch.

I tried the No-Cheese Plate and felt like I‘m in heaven. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture. The restaurant was a Butchers shop back in the days, so there are not many options to sit down - but it‘s worth to wait for a free table. Otherwise you can order for takeaway.

Read moreEs handelt sich um eine ehemalige Metzgerei, die von den Inhabern Marlen und Daniel liebevoll sein umgestaltet wurde und wo sie nun vegane Käsespezialitäten aus ganz Europa verkaufen - seit einigen Monaten sogar einen eigenen, der mittlerweile zu unseren Lieblingssorten gehört.
Das Sortiment ist ständig wechselnd (und wiederkehrend), was den Einkauf jedes Mal spannend macht und man öfter etwas Neues entdeckt.
Überwiegend Weich- und Schimmelkäse sind hier zu finden. Aber auch vereinzelt Hartkäse wie zB Parmesan.
Ich persönlich mag am liebsten sämtliche Camembert-Varianten oder Blauschimmel am liebsten - diese überzeugen sogar meine Allesesser-Familie. 👌🏼
Abgerundet wird das Ganze durch feine Kuchen und eine kleine Mittagskarte, auf der wirklich jedes Gericht lecker ist.
Du kannst nur ein Gericht probieren? Dann USS in jedem Fall das Reuben-Sandwich!
Ebenfalls unbedingt probieren: die Brunchbox! 🤩
Zu besonderen Anlässen gibt es sogar Spezialboxen, zB an Weihnachten. 👌🏼
