A best place to degust Vegan mochis with coffee - Edit
Second place opened 20th of April in 2024, this brand offers both fresh and iced mochi, with 7 seats.

"Traditionally, mochi is made by two people working in tandem to pound and wet the sticky sweet rice flour dough using a kine (wooden mallet) and usu (mortar). It's a laborious but fascinating process that can still be seen in some parts of Japan. "
Given the texture of the mochi I tasted, it certainly fits the bill!
The welcome is perfect, and the mochi are delicious!
