Quick and tasty - Edit
Really tasty mushroom burger. So good to have something delicious and not smothered in hummus for a change. Sometimes you want fast food with a cherry cola. Can't be saintly every day! Wish I could manage the dirty fries, looked amazing but seriously tasty mushroom burger was very adequate for my little tum 😀

Large and varied menu with satisfying options for both vegans and non-vegans. Definitely hits the spot in terms of a filling meal when you're craving some junk. I have eaten here several times and will continue to do so.
Read moreTakeout/delivery is better as the shop isn't great for dining in. It has limited seating and can get busy with delivery drivers.

Convincing fast food with its pros and cons. Fast and tasty but not the healthiest. We can recommend the Oowee and Mediterranean Burgers. The latter had interesting flavours with feta and lamb patty. We wanted to come back for a milkshake but sadly the machine was broken.

I should have reviewed this ages ago! Oowee is a favourite of mine in Bristol. They’ve significantly improved since my first visit. The chicken tenders are crispy and full of flavour and a big favourite of mine is the mac n cheese. It’s so good!

The food here was so so good and proper full of flavour, hitting all the junk food cravings! I took ages choosing as so much on menu. I would probs gone with fries another time rather than Mac and cheese as Mac and cheese used to be my fave before I went vegan so hard to find something that will match it for me. Fast food rather than sit down place although there is seating. I would recommend taking out if a lovely day and sit by the docks. Could also have done with a toilet but there’s public loos nearby in the market place at the back.

I had the cluckin fries with cheese, fried “chicken” and gravy and it was so good! Hit the spot😄it’s very filling delicious junk food. The gravy was sooo tasty. Also, the park is very close and on a sunny day you can just grab some food and eat it at the park nearby 😊 would definitely recommend!

Stopped here for food before a gig, the fries were perfect and I got the hot chicken burger with jalapenos which was brilliant comfort food. Brought back some chicken tenders for my partner...ate two before I made it back home (it was a traumatic drive ok) but those chicken tenders single handedly saved my partners terrible day at work. I will be dreaming of the vegan baconaise and Korean barbecue sauce as well. I wish they had one of these everywhere

Great choice of items, small suggestion would be to offer different sides for the burger meal and just charge a surcharge but maybe they do and I missed it!
Read moreI got the big bacon swiss burger which was AMAZING and my bf (not vegan) got the sneaky clucker which he also enjoyed!
Their beer taps weren’t working & I was surprised by the lack of toilets but it was still everything I hoped for and was glad to finally try it! Will be back.

(I order from Oowee Vegan very often on Deliveroo. I imagine the in-house cook team thinking "oh hey, Kira's ordered again!" I imagine myself as their mysterious customer who only shows up in-branch occasionally. One of them says to another "oh I met Kira the other day in-store" and all the others brush it off as a rumour.)

For our trip to Bristol we were going to head to Tiffin, but it was closed. So we walked down to Oowee instead. Clean, bit basic inside. Staff were friendly, good range of options of burgers/chick*n/wraps plus a Korean menu we didn’t notice til we’d ordered.
Read moreI went for the Flamin’ Hot Clucker, which was a good size, tasty and crispy. Partner opted for the Shroom burger which was alright, a bit anonymous. Shared a box of Garlic butter fries (insanely more-ish) and onion rings.
Sat watching the night-life of Bristol outside the window.
