Amazing salt and pepper chips.

Called up and asked if the vegetarian items were vegan and they were accommodating. The salt and pepper chips are amazing. However, although their other vegan options are ok like the mock duck and other mock meats. They have a bit of a peculiar texture and could be improved 100%.

Pros: Great salt and pepper chips , Accommodating to vegans

Cons: A little expensive but not too much , The other options are ok but could be better

My favourite local Chinese takeaway

The vegetarian options are more extensive than I've seen in other places, with mock meat options as well as bean curd. The staff are very helpful with making adjustments to make items vegan where needed

Pros: Good variety of options , Friendly and accommodating staff , Good prices

Cons: Nothing labeled vegan on menu

Very willing to cater vegan and pretty nice food

Tempted to try Oriental House as they have a big vegetarian section on their menu and I hoped they had vegan options too. Called to ask about vegan options, listed a few options I'd like to try and could hear the chef being asked about what options could be veganised. Ordered the veg chow mein (really nice and flavourful, good selection of big veg), mushroom rice (boiled - presumably as it would have been fried in a pan for frying with egg otherwise), bean curd Kung Po (incredible!) and mock duck in black bean sauce (a little salty, but really nice texture and a hint of spice). Will definitely be trying more! Delivery just over an hour as promised but arrived hot.

Pros: Really helpful in making food vegan, Very flavourful food, Reasonable price

Cons: Rice underwhelming
