Great spot - Edit
This is a wonderful coffee shop and it might be my favorite coffee shop in Chicago.
Read moreThey have TONS of vegan options: pastries, sandwiches, soups, lattes. Their nut milks are made in house! They even have a pistachio milk made in house and the default for many lattes is dairy-free. Everything is very tasty and everyone is super nice.
I can only go up to 4 stars since this place is not fully vegan, but honestly, they are a five star coffee shop.
Pros: Nut milks made in house , Tons of vegan options , Great place to work for a bit

Great location - Edit
I had a hot oat milk & coconut latte, and my friend had a hot honey ginger tea with chunks of fresh ginger. We are 2 vegan gf treats. The chocolate one was very crumbly. The almond one was moist & yummy.

confections - Edit
Oromo Cafe has fantastic vegan confections (as healthful as treats can be.) made with ethically-sourced, sustainable ingredients. I've been there several times, it's always busy, but no one has ever been rude or short with me.

Beautiful Intimate Cafe - Wonderful Fare - Edit
They have wonderful options for all types of eaters. They craft their vegetarian and vegan options extremely well and highlighting the produce rather than making imitation foods. So good! Atmosphere is great. They have Turkish inspired and imported foods and coffee. It can get a little cramped on a busy weekend. But so so so so good and in an incredible location in Lincoln Square. There’s truly something for everyone here.

Delicious quick bites - Edit
Tons of vegan options! I got the mint pistachio pesto on a bagel which was very very good. The bakery case was filled with vegan options and there were also vegan Turkish delights to go.

Fair - Edit
Ordered the green power bagel sandwich and it was nothing special. In my opinion, it didn’t really have much taste. I’m sure the coffees and everything else would be much better.

I love this little cafe - Edit
This cafe is so wonderful. It’s located right below western cta blue line. It is so cute inside. The staff is so warm and welcoming. There are so many vegan baked goods and treats. They have soup mixes, raw crackers, dehydrated vegetable chips. Everything is clearly labeled and the staff is super helpful if you have any questions about anything. They have a variety of plant based milks. Highly recommend

Disappointed with the food and the service. - Edit
I ordered a vegan soup - expensive - and I got about 1/4 of a bowl - which was plenty since I couldn’t eat more than two spoonfuls. And a vegan sandwich that was fine. Then I ordered an iced tea and ended up with an iced tea blended with milk. No thought to say that there was milk in it, even tho everything else I ordered was vegan. I left the tea and the soup and ate a $25 sandwich. I won’t be back.

Oh Yes, Oromo - Edit
Met a friend for coffee and stuck around for a bit. A great selection of vegan pastries, drinks, and foods. Had the Oatmeal, Cranberry, Walnut cookie with a maple-pecan maca latte. Also got a bowl of their lentil soup and naan. Can't wait to go back.

Raw brownie is amazing! - Edit
Love this place for light bites, including their awesome salad and beet hummus. But the real stand-out, for me, is the raw vegan brownie! They also have an impressive variety of homemade nut milks for their specialty tea and coffee drinks. Totally worth a stop if you’re in the neighborhood!
