Serves meat, vegan options available. Asian cuisine with a mix of Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Malaysian dishes. Menu includes a small vegetarian section where some items (e.g. stir-fried bean sprouts) would suit as side dishes but most would do for main courses based on tofu or imitation meat. Throughout the rest of the menu -- soups, starters, rice, noodles etc.-- vegetarian items are marked with a green leaf symbol. The chips (French fries) don't get the green leaf, presumably because they're cooked in the same deep oil as meat. Most noodle dishes don't get the green leaf either, even those with no meat in them, presumably because of the egg. Vegans please let HappyCow know if there are sufficient options to keep this listing. Open Mon-Sun 13:00-23:30.

Really fantastic options - Edit
We had written off Overseas as when we looked them up a few months ago they only had a tofu stir fry that looked vegan, but when we glanced at the menu walking by we noticed that loads of stuff was marked vegan (not even vegetarian, the egg fried rice didn't have the leaf symbol). Even better they had a vegan soy meat protein option. There's only vegan meat with chilli or tofu stir fry, but they'll happily do whatever sauce you want. We had both the vegetable and Malaysian spring rolls to start, very similar but really lovely with the Malaysian ones having a bit of a kick.
Read moreThe mains were sensational. We had vegan meat with satay and vegan meat with chilli and they were sincerely some of the best Chinese food we've had since going vegan. We also had salt and pepper chips which weren't on the menu but made no problem.
Service was just ok, helpful but not particularly friendly and a bit abrupt, but this has been our experience everywhere on this trip and we wouldn't let that stop us coming back. Prices were ok too - two starters, two mains, three sides and a beer and a cocktail came to €65
Pros: The food, Prices
Cons: Service, No crispy tofu, only silken

Would give 5 stars if I could - Edit
The best food I had in LC. Vegetarian options were marked on the menu but staff were accommodating and can point out what’s vegan. Really lovely to have a menu with tofu/faux meat on it and not just vegetables.

Amazing food - Edit
Vegetarian options are clearly labelled on the menu, most of them are vegan but make sure to check with the staff as some dishes have egg in but can be cooked without. The food isn’t cheap but it’s very nice, I would definitely recommend.

Okay food - Edit
We came here twice on our 10 day holiday. We also came here last year, but it seems the food has gone down hill.
Read moreThere's not many options for vegans and this time around it was okay, but a little bland.
Worth popping in if you're eating with meat eaters.
Pros: Go if your with meat eaters , Okay prices
Cons: Bland food , Not many options for vegans

Some good options - Edit
The vegetarian options are few, but they put some effort into it, so definitely it might be worth a visit, it is not likely someone on holiday would visit it more than twice though.

Sake to Me - Edit
I've been a couple times to Tenerife and always love coming back to Overseas. Really attentive staff (who speak English well enough to do the job apparently *massive eye roll*). They used to do vegan fish but it doesn't appear to be on the menu anymore, but they do a vegan meat. We had sushi, gyoza, tempora battered vegetables, then vegan meat/coconut rice. It's high quality and worth the visit :)

Small range of good food - Edit
My wife (not a vegetarian) and I ate twice in this restaurant during a recent one-week stay in Los Cristianos. We both thought the food was of a high standard, so we went back a second time. However, the choice is limited so this probably isn't a restaurant where I'd want to eat often.
Read moreAs far as I could tell, the starters and main courses that were identified as "vegetarian" used neither dairy products nor eggs.
All the staff we dealt with, both oriental and local, spoke English well enough to do the job. The doorman was English.
Pros: Good quality of cuisine., Smart decor and ambience.
Cons: Limited choice.
