I heard about this place a lot while I was staying in overseas and can’t wait to try it in Seoul! Omg! It’s super good! Can’t stop eating 😂 I ordered Coupang and tried 5 flavours, I love every donut. Wither Non Vegans or vegans would love it.

Read moreThe speciality flavors sell out quickly, but are also not prepared early in the morning. It can take some time to prepare them so that's something to keep in mind. Also, the base for every donut is exactly the same. Its a very delicious base, but in the end they all taste pretty similar.
❗Cows milk is the default milk option ❗
Coffee is not very good and is too hot. When I visited they had almond milk as an option, but its possible they expanded.

The exterior of the cafe looks like it belongs in Paris. It’s quite cute and worth taking a snap. The donuts they sell inside also don’t disappoint. Some cool flavours like garlic glaze and cream cheese. Donuts were very tasty and the dough was kinda chewy. They were slightly pricey at 3,300 won for glazed and 3,600 won for cream topped donuts but I think they were worth the splurge if you have a bit of a sweet tooth

This all vegan donut cafe is dangerously close to my apartment and I’m already plotting the flavors I’m gonna try on my next visit…..tomorrow (just kidding haha). The cafe is very easy to find and it’s a small, but cozy place situated on the corner. The lady who helped me was very sweet, helpful, and spoke English very well. She explained that everything is vegan and they have 11 different flavors of doughnuts and if I had any questions to just ask. I ended up taking a “free choices” box to go which allows you to choose up to 6 different doughnut flavors. It was a little pricey but in my opinion, worth it. The lady who helped me recommended the Earl Grey Almond(?) doughnut as that is their most popular and in her opinion, the best one, and the Black Sesame. I also ended up with the Matcha, Strawberry Shortcake, PB&J, and Garlic & Cream Cheese doughnuts. I appreciate how unique the flavors are as it can get old eating the same recreated flavors at different places.
Read moreI split the box with my two neighbors so the flavors I ended up trying were the Strawberry Shortcake and Matcha doughnuts. They were so delicious! The Strawberry one had a cream filling with strawberry slices in the middle topped with more cream and a cute whole strawberry on top. The presentation itself is very adorable, but the taste was even better. I thought the cream may be a little too much for the size of it but it was actually perfect and just sweet enough. The Matcha flavor had some crunchy bits sprinkled over the top of the glaze but I can’t remember exactly what it was (maybe pistachio?). I can tell you it was super delicious though. Since it was a little less sweet, it actually ended up being my favorite of the two.
Overall, Overte is a nice small donut cafe with a variety of tasty unique flavors and a cozy atmosphere. I would definitely recommend vegans and non-vegans alike to give them a try!

I am so excited to find an all vegan donut place in Seoul. I don’t understand why everyone has this conception that Seoul is not vegan friendly when not even San Francisco has an all vegan donut shop.

But let’s get to the donuts: they had so many flavors and really unique ones too including black sesame, garlic and cream cheese, and matcha.
We got 6 donuts and all were wonderful and unique. Flavor was not compromised and none were overly dry. I appreciate the experimentation with more savory donuts too. 15/10 would recommend.

I've tried almost every donut here. Earl Grey, Tiramisu, Raspberry, Matcha, Black Sesame, Garlic & Cream Cheese, and the new Strawberry Shortcake. My absolute favorite three are Earl Grey, Matcha, and Strawberry Shortcake. I am sooo glad I live far away from here. Every time I come to Seoul I have to stop here at least twice. I really appreciate how the donuts are baked rather than fried and are lightly sweetened to perfection!

There's a diversity of flavors with varying glazes and toppings, e.g. tiramisu, matcha, PB&J as well as black sesame.
The cafe opens as early as 8am on weekdays, and closes when they are sold out.

Light and fluffy. The original glazed reminded me so much like a crispy donut chain I’ve had a lot prior to becoming vegan. Wish it was closer to where I live. It’s probably a good thing it isn’t.
