Samusa salad was fantastic. The tofu burger was not

Recommend buy a friend to come here for the samosa salad and boy was it worth it. However the portion is a bit small especially when they take up some of the plate with the cutlery so I also went for a tofu Burger afterwards the tofu Burger can't turn out cold and when I brought it back they made me another but this time half the thickness of the tofu I guess to make sure it cooked properly. First times however it was a bit oily and cold and I've had better from the beach places.

In their defense if you're going to a Burmese restaurant and getting a burger and maybe you are the fool.

I will however say that during my time I was being eaten alive by mosquitoes. It has been my first experience being vegan and eating food meant not to have any harm done and yet I kill 10 different insects during my time there.

Pros: The samusa salad!

Cons: Lots of mosquitos

Best Food on Phangan

I tried several dishes, and each one was packed with flavor and a unique blend of spices that really set it apart from other vegetarian dishes I've had on the island. Some of my favorite dishes included the samosa salad, the Burmese salad, and the tea paste rice.

I highly recommend this Burmese restaurant to anyone looking for delicious vegetarian options.

Pros: Lots of vegetarian options

5/5 - salad done right

Had no idea what to expect of a Burmese salad. The salad was great! Lots of flavour and garlic - love it
Freshly prepared. Good portion size for only 65thb very friendly owners. Good English, relaxing music, lovely ambience. Free wifi and drinking water out of a station and ice 🧊
Salad was with crunchy beans, cabbage and kinda pesto - love it and highly recommend this place

A hidden gem on the island

Absolutely mouth watering food made by this lovely couple. The furnishings are simple from natural bamboo or upcycled parts. I had only know of Burmese tea leaf salad before my visit but there are so many other Burmese dishes you can try at this restaurant. I tried the Gotu Kola salad, samosa salad, khao swe and the tea leaf rice, all delicious! Current prices for most dishes are 60 baht and drinks around 25 baht. Free drinking water and hot tea. Excellent value, please come visit and try everything 💕
One of my favourite restaurants on the island and a must visit on your trip to Koh Phangan!

Amazing food!

We had the tofu/potato curry and the crispy tofu burger. Both delicious. The curry is one of the best we have had and the burger is amazing. Would highly recommend this place.

The best Burmese salads!

I had the Burmese salad here and it was soo good and only 50 baht. My boyfriend had the red tofu and potato curry (60 baht and came with rice) and absolutely loved it. We also had some samosas (50 baht) which were some of the best we'd ever had!

Deffo coming back here to try some more of their vegan salads
