French fries itself was really good, not too oily, but like some home made snack. Sadly I couldn't really add any sauces, I am not sure any of them was vegan.

Honest and sadly no V opt - Edit
No more vegan sauces. Only ketchup. Vegan pesto is discontinued. Also, fries are made in the same oil as deep friend chicken.

I just talked to the employee and he assured me that all the sauces are mayonnaise-based, which has eggs of course. I asked him whether they have plant-based mayo, and he said they never had that and also that he never heard that there is such a thing. (lent/fasting mayo) He was very polite, wasn't a "new guy" and sounded very confident in what was he saying.

The staff at Patatas know what they're doing when it comes to French fries. While in Belgrade, my husband and I would frequent this highly affordable establishment, sometimes five days in a row for what we christened "fry dinner."

One dark evening, when my husband and I were strolling along outside in the rain, after returning to Belgrade from our stay in Novi Sad, Dean recognized us and gave a friendly wave from inside where he was working. How he could sense our presence, I will never know. But his hospitality, genuinely kind nature, generous portion sizes and attentiveness to details when it comes to fry making impressed us immensely.
You may think fries are bland and boring side dishes or a desperate vegan's "go-to," but at Patatas, you would be wrong.
Pros: Vegan fries and vegan sauces available!, Very Cheap!!!, Staff are the friendliest I've ever met!
Cons: Not all sauce options are vegan
