Surprisingly great pizza - Edit
It's got a chipotle like model to it- go down the line, tell them what you want, they pop it in the oven and then call when it's ready. I am always pleasantly surprised how GOOD the pizza is! They don't charge extra for vegan cheese which is almost unheard of. They have vegan sausage as well. The crust is amazing. Def recommend - a nice place to go with your non vegan friends

Very Good - Edit
They have clearly labeled vegan cheese, which is very tasty! (and they recently got rid of the up-charge for the cheese). It’s set up like a Chipotle, where they make the pizza right in front of you so it’s easy to pick what you want as you go, with many vegetable choices.

Filling build your own pizza - Edit
The staff was very friendly. As soon as I said we were vegan the young lady applying the sauce put on fresh gloves (other places asked if I wanted them to change them, l liked that the server immediately changed the gloves). There were lots of great toppings. The crust edges were a little more puffy than at other places. I really liked that and would choose Pi Craft Pizza over the competition for the crust.

Vegan Pizza in Rochester! - Edit
They have a pretty thin crust unless you get the sandwich which is a square deep-dish thickness crust “pizza” and they don’t skimp on the toppings except the sauce. In fact, picking one or all the toppings is the same price. They have separate cooking and cutting items for vegans which was super. Something you get use to being vegan. They also have vegan meat.

Great Pizza - Edit
They make it right in front of you. We had vegan cheese (for a $2.00 upcharge) and when we asked for the herbed-tomato sauce the preparer told us that it had regular cheese in it and suggested the plain tomato sauce. He also changed his gloves since he had been preparing meat pizzas.

Fresh and delicious. Pretty quick if there is no line.
I think I like Blaze Pizza down the street more but I will have to try each of the places a few more times to be sure. 😃
Pros: Vegan friendly and aware, Real tasty

Perfect Quick Vegan Pizza - Edit
This is the first local pizza place I've found to offer vegan meat and cheese options. That alone is a plus in this city. Aside from that, the pizza is good; thin, chewy crust with crispy edges, and a pretty good vegan sauce. I love that I can get a pizza with just sauce and vegetables and that there are several vegetable options to choose from. Really a pretty good pizza, fresh and not swimming in oil.

Cons: Open seating with some shared seating space, Loud if it's crowded

confusing, but good - Edit
Their menu options/pricing are confusing at first: all the toppings are included in the base price except about 8 "premium" toppings, including vegan cheese & vegan meat (sausage, I think). & personal pizzas only (2 sizes, the larger is what I consider normal meal).
Read moreOnce you understand the concept, you can max out your pizza with most/all the "free" vegetable & spice toppings & it's a great pizza. If, like my sister, you thought it was pay per topping, your pizza may end up sparse.
My sister & I got vegan pizzas & my dad got omnivore & we all enjoyed it. My unadventurous step-mom seemed apalled at the "craft" concept & declined to get anything.
Note: not all sauces are vegan, but staff is knowledgeable so just tell them you're vegan & they'll advise you.
This place is at a mall & has a "hip" vibe, for lack of a better term. It's like a fancy fast-food place, but not like a normal restaurant.
Pros: plenty of vegan options, tasty thin-crust pizza, fast

Build your own pizza! - Edit
Like familiar burrito joints, where you pick out your own fillings... at Pi Craft, you build your own pizza and they bake it in a 700+ degree oven in a handful of minutes.
Read moreReally great spot for lunch. Vegan cheese available, or create something unique that uses bbq sauce, roasted veggies, arugula, artichoke, broccoli-rabe... the list goes on!
Great deal for fresh tasty food!
