Flavourful

We had a lovely meal here on a recent trip to Dubai. We haven't tried their other location yet but the Ibis hotel location is cute. We thought the food was really flavourful.

Pros: Flavourful, Nice decor

Tasty and fresh

Located in the lobby of hotel and is basically the hotels cafe. So while clean and orderly doesn’t have a lot of ambience.

Food was good. I had a chick-n burger and my wife vegetable stir fry.

Food was tasty.

But I think portions could be 25% bigger. And relatively pricey compared to most local veg fare.
Most mains about 70 dirham.

Skipped desert but they looked good.

Still have issue with tea for 30 dirham.

Pros: Tasty , Fresh , Variety

Cons: Portion size , A bit pricey

Nice place - food looked better than it tasted

This is a nice place but I agree with some of the other reviews that for the money I wasn’t that impressed. I had the burrata tomato salad and also the mushroom kebab wrap. The cheese on the burrata salad was a bit heavy and also a bit weird which made me not eat all of it - there are some incredible off the shelf vegan burrata I’ve tried before so I expected more for the money. Plus the heritage tomatoes just looked and tasted like a cheap salad tomato. The mushroom wrap was ok but again I wouldn’t say it was a joy to eat which for the money was disappointing. I don’t know if the owners of this are either a) not vegan b) haven’t tasted the food or c) don’t know what potential good vegan food has. Anyway I don’t want the review to be too harsh as options in Dubai are nothing like in many other cities and it wasn’t terrible by any means, so it’s all good but I feel a few small tweaks would make this better food.

Heavy food - felt bad the day after

It is quite difficult to find a vegan restaurant in Dubai. Planet Terra looked very promising but turned out to be a big disappointment. We tested multiple dishes and all were very heavy. We had stomach aches same evening but also felt heavy the next day. Also prices were on high end with >100 AED per person. Not willing to return…

Pros: Service

Cons: Main dishes - heavy, Expensive, Hotel location

Not sure what happened...

I visited Planet Terra at Ibis Hotel after loving my last visit in their location in The Greens.
The place is beautiful just like the one in The Greens! The waiter was very kind but he seemed inexperienced. I feel like there was some problem with communication as he kept making mistakes while confirming our order.
I got the tempeh souvlaki. The first impression was good-presentation of the dish was beautiful and the portion was big. The hummus was very tasty and the pita was soft, warm and fluffy. However I wasn't a huge fan of the skewers themselves. For some reason they tasted very sour. I'm not sure if it was an issue with the ingredients or the way the food was seasoned, but I was unable to finish my food and I just ended up enjoying the pita with hummus 😅
Also, the prices are very high, if I'm not mistaken it's even higher than the main location, and menu is limited. I understand that it's caused by the location, but a 40aed price tag for the pistachio latte seemed extremely steep to me. I guess the cost wouldn't bother me that much, but paying a lot for food I couldn't finish hurts!
Overall, since my experience in the Greens was very positive, I'd love to give this place another try one day!

Pros: Beautiful decor, Polite service, Large portions

Cons: Very expensive, Staff seemed inexperienced, Food didn't meet expectations

Classy gem

Beautiful cosy and classy little gem within the ibis hotel, I'd stay just to have close access to this restaurant!
It's fine dining and not fast food so it's priced accordingly

Pros: Presentation , Staff awesome, Menu

Cons: Pricey - but is a restaurant.

Some are good, some are just ok

The kimchi pad thai was our favorite, and the cauliflower steak was surprisingly good as well! I found lasagna and risotto quite bland and sweet. Even the tiramisu we ordered as dessert was a little disappointing, although the drinks were extremely good. Please order mango matcha and you will love it! I will come back to try different foods next time.

Lasagne and bacon

The place itself is very nicely arranged, with plants and swing chairs . We came to eat here 3 times. All the food was good but also not great and the portions rather small and quite expensive. They did have nice looking desserts but we found them way to pricy and passed on them.

Pros: Nice interior, Interesting choices

Cons: pricy

Great menu, nice vibes

I enjoyed having lunch here. The atmosphere is very relaxed and cool. Their menu is quite diverse, and all options I tried were well prepared and delicious. High-five to the team for the great job😄!

Good food and tasty tea

This restaurant is located inside the IBIS. Good menu with tasty options. Liked the Tempeh Souvlaki.

Amazing Experience

Food was amazing, very unique and lots of flavour! Enjoyed sitting outside in the hammock chairs! The Zaatar croissant was my favourite

Wonderful food

We had a wonderful dinner at Planet Terra. Service was fantastic and the food was fabulous. The tofu dishes and the hummus were yummy.

A bit on the pricey side.

Cons: Expensive

Yum all around

This place is so pretty!!

Ok, there are two Ibis hotels next to each other. Go to the one closest to the WTC, the restaurant is to the right of the main entrance.
It’s such an oasis of calm!
I had a great little pistachio latte, a heart salad, and empanadas. Everything was fresh and tasty and the place was so comfortable and well illuminated. Even better, it was not freezing cold from extreme A/C.
The desserts look glorious, so I’ll have to come back later to try them.
The only thing I didn’t like- a group of ladies came in and the waiter promptly proceeded to tell them in a discouraging way that the restaurant is vegan, so no meat or milk are served here. Why??? Let the food speak for itself.

Pros: Calming atmosphere and my Hammock chair, Fresh food, great choices, Great service

Cons: The waiter “warning” people that is vegan

Fancy and Delicious

Nice location, located in the lobby of Ibis hotel, very spacious.

Didn't try much, just a dessert. It was like a choco lava cake served with ice cream and a chocolate stick. Very tasty, the sweetness was just right.

Nice place, could be better

The newly opened branch of Planet Terra at Ibis hotel has some lovely interiors and nice-ish ambience but a bit quiet with no music playing. It was mostly empty on Friday evening for dinner but understandable since it's just newly opened. The options are the same as the branch in the Greens. But they were out of stock of both the smoothie and dishes I'd ordered (they were apparently out of tofu and tempeh). So I finally landed on the kimchi pad Thai as recommended by the waitress. It was good but nothing spectacular.

Love the fact that it's all vegan, tho. Willing to come back and try more options!
