this is one of the best places i’ve ever received food from. i was a bit unsure initially because i thought the pick up building was a little odd but it was 1000% worth it! the pickup location is a black warehouse, and when you order they’ll send you a link to unlock a locker inside of the warehouse when your food is ready. there are numbered lockers on the inside wall, and all i had to do was click the link to unlock the locker and grab my food.
Read morei tried the good for the soul plate (yams, collard greens, mac, and fried chick’n) and i was happy to see the large portion! there was plenty of mac and cheese, and it was the best mac i’ve had as of posting. the yams were also exceptional. i’d recommend this plate because of the sampling variety.
i was also interested in the wings, so i tried half bbq and half lemon pepper. the texture of the “chicken” was impressively realistic, and although the bbq was my favorite because of the sauce, i enjoyed the lemon pepper as well.
the last thing i tried was the lobster melt. the fries that came with it were well seasoned, and the lobster melt itself held a lot of flavor. i didn’t find the cheese to be sticky or glue-y, and thought the lobster was pretty accurate. definitely a good order.
overall i’d definitely recommend because i could probably eat here every day! all the food was very well seasoned and packed a punch. the portion sizes are huge, the mac and cheese is a must-try 🙌

Friend and I visited Planted Soul because I was in Atlanta and wanted to hit a couple Vegan restaurants. This location popped up. We both order “Jamaican Me Crazy” and the chicken(lemon pepper) and fries. First it seemed a bit pricey but when you open it up..WOW!!! So much food!! Collard greens (outstanding) Mac&cheese( very cheesy) the jerk chicken and rice (a bit spicy) and cornbread. The entire meal will have me running back next time I’m in Atlanta. By the way I could only eat about a fourth of it. Yes that much food..chicken wings really put me in the mind of wing.

I ordered the lemon pepper wings. A little to lemon pepper tasting but was really good. Portions were good and the vegan ranch sauce was great. Definitely will give them another go next time I’m in Atlanta.

Stuffed with Amazing Goodness - Edit
I’m writing this while laying down, completely stuffed and amazed by the incredible food I just had from this establishment. The portions are huge so don’t be like me and over order. Or do and be excited you have leftovers. The price point is great, the flavor is outstanding. Can’t wait to visit Atlanta again to eat here again!

Fantastic food!! No dine in option, but ordering was a breeze and we just popped into a local brewery down the street for drinks to go with our meal. We ordered 3 dishes to sample a little bit of everything and it was so well seasoned and delicious. Definitely get the Mac n cheese and cornbread with whatever entree you choose.

Read moreWe had the "Veggie Spring Rolls" (which included tasty fries and salad greens that were an unexpected and good addition) and the "Good 4 The Soul" (with a tasty and unexpected little cornbread), along with a side of Mac n Cheeze. All vegan and all delicious.
The vegan fried chicken was cut thin with a nice crisp cornmeal breading. The mac was smooth and not too sticky, with a few crispy spots -- just the way I like it. The candied yams were little nuggets of perfectly cooked goodness. And the collard greens were amazing!
We're looking forward to trying more next time.
This place only does pick up or deliver. No tables on site. Apparently there are a bunch of kitchens with different restaurants all serviced by a single pick up counter at the front. Perfect for the pandemic.
Pros: All vegan, Great flavors, Not greasy
Cons: Pricey, but good portions
