OK-ish - Edit
Went there on a business trip so since I didn’t pay out of my pocket I guess my opinion is biased ahah, because I found the prices expensive. But at least they clearly label their vegan options and the food was ok. Good option if you are in Amsterdam North.

Some vegan snacks and bites - Edit
The vegan mushroom croquettes and the roasted oyster mushrooms were okay. The samosa’s didn’t have much filling and not a samosa flavour.

Extremely tasty mains - Edit
2 vegan mains on the menu and 1 veggie. We had all 3 and were very satisfied with all 3. Great atmosphere and very busy when we arrived (Tuesday night 8pm).
Read moreRecommend to book in advance as it's a bit of a trek to NDSM from most areas of the town.

Healthy food with vegan option - Edit
Multiple vegan options available including soup of the day, starters, main courses and desserts. Chocolate cake amazing, Indian curry a bit plain though.

Great place - Edit
A very cool vibe, staff are very friendly and realistically should be a higher mark, but the vegan options are very limited.. many more veggie though and very few meat that I saw!

Creative decor and unusual location leads to a fun place for brunch. The food isn’t standout or stellar in any way, but it has delicious dessert options.

Nice place for drinks - Edit
This place is really nice for drinks with friends on beautiful summer evenings, but I don't think I'd eat here as there aren't really any interesting options.

Cozy spot but food is bland - Edit
It's a veggie friendly place but the food is really bland even for me who never adds extra salt or cooks with salt. The vegan samosas where ok and the staff is nice!

Must go! - Edit
I loved going to Pllek, the restaurant is great, it has a very chill atmosphere. I was there in the winter and in the center of the place there was a fireplace that kept the entire bar in a very good temperature.
Read moreThe meals were all great, the menu is 75% vegetarian and 33% vegan ♥.
In addition, Pllek is very well located. Out of the busy center of Amsterdam. It is very good to leave the tourist center and get to know different places provide a much better and more local experience.

Nice atmosphere - Edit
This place announces its menu is 75% vegetarian and from that 25% is vegan. We chose the soup of the day which was decent beet soup. Not the best but good. Vegan options (including wine) are clearly marked to the menu.
Read moreIn sundays there is live music. Place was full and there is a lot of tables and seats so there was pretty much hassle. Building is very nicely renowated old industrial hall.
In sunday afternoon there was also a lots of kids with their parents. There was kids play area and there was some craft workshop for kids. Family friendly place I would say!
Pros: Very vegan friendly, Family friendly
Cons: Hassle

Amazing spot with delicious food and a view to fall in love with - Edit
Pllek is the spot in Amsterdam you need to go to if you are in the mood for some delicious veggie and vegan food! They have a menu from which is 75% vegetarian and 25% vegan. The kebab with the flatbread is delicious and the grilled pumpkin with cauliflower makes me want to go back! Next to food this place also has cool events with live music and on the day we were there, there was a openair movie on their city beach!

A bit of a disappointment - Edit
Came over to Pllek for a day trip - interesting part of the city but the food was a big disappointment. Staff not particularly receptive to dietary requirements - didn't offer alternatives or suggestions for tweaks, which left us a bit limited. Food when it did come was a rather small portion - only three small bits of falafel. What was served was tasty, but partner in particular left with not much to eat due to failure to accommodate dietary requirements. It was rather hard to flag down staff and they weren't overly friendly. Price wise it was very expensive for what was served. I wouldn't go back and would advise checking somewhere else out instead
Read morePros: Flavours were nice enough
Cons: Limited approach to dietary requirements, Vastly overpriced, Poor portion size
