Disappointing

Used to offer much more choice for vegans, visited in December 2024 and the only option was a vegan stack. Ordered toast with avocado but the avocado had been blitzed to a purée and had no texture at all. They had also added butter, feta, and eggs however apologised, remade it and removed it from the bill. Service isn’t great, unsure if there has been a change in the kitchen maybe.

Cons: Barely vegan, Service could be better

Limited for Breakfast/Brunch

Vegan full English was the only breakfast/brunch portion marked on the menu. Has oat and coconut milk for drinks. Was nice but probably wouldn’t go again for breakfast.

Gorgeous tapas dishes

Came here for lunch and was excited by the amount of choice for vegans. The atmosphere was lovely and the food we ordered were good sized portions for the price. Highlights included asparagus frites, and the sweet chilli cauliflower. Delicious hummus and amazing, fresh sourdough.

Pros: Lots of vegan choice, Delicious flavours, Fresh produce

Cons: Expensive, Lots of bread

Disappointing

Good VF startees nice hummus, asparagus frites and padrón peppers But both times I've tried the main dishes (roast cauliflower or falafal burger) they have been very bland and tasteless. The staff didn't serve our drinks until we were half way through starter and rushed us through the rest of the meal (serving our main whole we were still in the middle of our starter). Not bad if there's nowhere else to eat

Pros: Nice small plates and starters

Cons: Service poor, Options limited, Tasteless/bland

Rude staff

Waitresses where chatting together, when I asked for menu the older waitress rolled her eyes at me! I felt some uncomfortable I didn’t enjoy my drink and left it unfinished.

Lovely atmosphere, so-so food

We had a really nice evening here listening to music while grazing a sharing platter. (They have live music most nights I think - it was a jazz duo when we went on a Sunday evening)

All pleasant enough. We liked the beetroot hummus and falafels were nice (but only 2 on a sharing board is stingy!)

Tbh, we would go again, but food simply wasn't that memorable. I'd rather go for drinks and music in a nice wine bar atmosphere.

Pros: Really nice staff, Food nice enough (would need to try more)

Cons: Tad expensive, Options were a bit boring

Meh...

Lovely place decor wise, lovely staff too, but they decided to get rid of the bhaji burger the day I went, replacing it with a generic falafel burger, which I can get anywhere.
Instead I opted for fried gnocchi, and beetroot hummus with sourdough. It was all just quite flavourless, and bland.
The gnocchi could have done with some garlic or onions in the sauce as it seemed to just be chopped tomatoes, and I’ve never known hummus to not really taste of anything.
I felt bad not responding when the waitress asked if everything was okay, but I didn’t really have a positive other than “everything we ordered arrived”.
