Disappointing

Nice enough venue overlooking the lagoon - if completely out of the way - but charging almost AUD$20 for a bowl of iceberg lettuce drowned in cream cheez without any flavour (no onion, garlic, capers, or even facon) and loading this up with bits of toast (‘croutons’) is a bit rich. As is charging a dollar per takeaway box without providing cutlery.

The expensive chocolate ‘mousse’ was similarly underwhelming. Coffee was okay.

Delicious and great ambiance

This is a great find. The scrambled tofu was the best I’ve ever had anywhere. (edit (11/23) I’ve gone back three times and asked for the tofu. It was never as good and today it was kind of wet and soggy. Last time I even sent it back. Unwound not recommend this again) I think I can say the same about the grilled cheese. Both so delicious. (edit 11/33: I also had the grilled cheese today and it was not that great. Just average. Not sure if they changed cooks after they closed for a while for renovation)
The guacamole toast was also very good.
Smoothies were good too; persimmon and mango, and pineapple, coconut and spirulina.
The vibe was relaxed and inviting. It felt like being at a restaurant right on the beach.
I super recommend this place!

Vegano e saudável na Barrinha

Casa muito agradavel adaptada para restaurante bem no inicio da Barra, em uma rua muito tranquila, na beira do canal. Comida saudável, saborasa e ambiente ótimo, no belo dia de Sol de minha visita. Combina muito bem com uma ida à escondida praia da Joatinga, que fica próxima.

Pros: Totalmente vegano, Ambiente agradável, Gostoso

Hot dog - great! Bean steak - great! Juice - great! Arancini - great! Service - great! Location - great! Vibe - great! All vegan! Serve beer! There is no reason for you not to visit this place! I can't wait to go back to try the breakfast menu! 😋

The best atmosphere for a vegan

In front of the channel and the beach of Barra da Tijuca. Organic products, fresh juices and açaí. Great vegan cheese, a incredible breakfast and very good for lunch.

Beautiful

It is a small vegan restaurant with great atmosphere and amazing food. Everything we tried was delicious. Breakfast menu contains several different options including pancakes. It is definitely the best place we found during our trip to Rio. Staff was extremely helpful and English-speaking. Loved it!

Little paradise

Great atmosphere, wordelful view, you can have breakfast or lunch. Food is amazing. There is a plus, you can rent a standup paddle!

The best vegan lunch

Simple place but very cozy atmosphere. Surf theme all over the place. Excellent vegan lunch. It opens every day until 16h or 17h. The perfect informal restaurant to go wearing shorts, t-shirt and flip-flop.

Pros: Easy to park on the street (free), Very polite waiters, owners and chef (Fernanda), Pet friendly

Great food here and some really cool guys

Really cool vibe to this place, operated by some young guys. Don't come for a fancy night out, but do come for the atmosphere and a fun place to hang out.
