Tasty kik wot and bamia

Being in Capitol Hill, the food is a little more expensive here than other Ethiopian places in Seattle. Sometimes we get takeout from here, but on our last visit we dined in and got a veggie combo for 2. All of it is good, but we think their bamia (okra) is the star here. The kik wot is one of my favorites as well.

Best Ethiopian

The veggie combo is all vegan and absolutely delicious. Service has suffered a bit lately, but the wait is worth it.

I'm happy you are here, Queen Sheba

I will say that it has never been my FAVORITE Ethiopian in Seattle, but it IS the most expensive! But, it is right there. It is always quality. It is also probably one of the faster service restaurants. The veg combo variety is a bit light but that varies greatly from restaurant to restaurant. It's less than a mile away, it's solid, prior to the pandemic, they were always open later and what is better than going to bed immediately after 6 pounds of injera and split peas?

Pros: Location, Service

Cons: variety in a veg platter

The veggie combo should be shared

The veggie combo is really good but you’ll need a partner to finish it.

Good food!

Went there with my boyfriend last month, he recommended it highly. We are both vegans. We had the all veggie option which was good, but as a native DC/Washingtonian which has a big Ethiopian community, their food is spicier than Sheba. So, my only request is to add a bit more spice. Very pleasant service.

GF Injera

Vegan options over GF Injera.
Flavors were super mild and the injera was cold (on both occasions that I dine here).

Pros: Vegan option and GF Injera

Cons: Not flavorful , Dishes were cold (and they should be hot or warm)

great vegetarian combo (all vegan)

Love this place for good and affordable Togo food, or a place to visit with Omni friends. Inside is cute and accessible in Capitol Hill (very close to light rail). Has individual vegan dishes or can go for the combo (all vegan) and so filling!
