Better than Expected - Edit
The reviews already written are a little bit harsh. Even though they do offer a full menu with meat (and a lot of meat free alternatives) their raw menu simply cannot be beaten in Chiang Mai. No other restaurant offers a raw spread quite like this. I would agree that it is confusing that they include honey in some items, but it's not uncommon for restaurants to classify honey as a 'raw' product. The raw vegan items that don't have honey are actually very good. It isn't cheap, raw food never is. The lasagne was delicious and I will be going back to try some of the other options and the desserts, some of which look amazing. I would have also freaked if I was given fish like someone else said, but I didn't have this problem. It is a long drive out of Chiang Mai to find it, in the district of Mae Rim. It is very well sign-posted.

Cons: Expensive, Very far from Chiang Mai City, Offers meat and dairy too

Could be so much better! - Edit
We've eaten at The Resort's other restaurants in Koh Chang and Koh Samui so booked to stay in Chang Mai thinking it would be similar. There is the usual huge menu with a mix of raw foods and veggie friendly foods but for some reason the other restaurants are much better at marking up which dishes are vegan on the menu.
Read moreThe other branches' serving staff also generally had good enough understanding of veganism to know whether a dish could be made vegan or not. In Chiang Mai we are guessing and asking based on what we know from the other resorts as none of the staff seem to understand.
The food that we have had has been really tasty and enjoyable - even when the starter arrived after the main course or the fries arrived long after the tofu burger! The drinks are fantastic too - if you come here you should try the Tropical Dream smoothie.
Also, have to say we have experienced a first for us in Thailand - a consistently grumpy member of staff. Found myself trying to cheer her up.
It's all a shame as the restaurant has a fantastic setting - really tranquil - and great tasting food. Clearer menus, and more knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff, would make this place unbeatable!
Pros: Peaceful setting, Great tasting food, Fruit Drinks
Cons: Vegan items unclear, Staff lack knowledge, Serves meat and fish

Radiance cafe - Edit
Radiance has the potential to have a good raw food cafe, however, because of their large menu, it can be difficult to order some items as they are unavailable that day.

Cons: Focus on satisfying status major pop

My Favorites - Edit
Guy's Breakfast - mangoes and papaya topped with goat's milk/yogurt with sprinkled bee pollen, and outstanding way to start the day.
Read moreRaw Tom Yum - a velvety green concoction that is served as a cold soup, but that I pour onto all of meals, you would think the ingredients have avocado, but they don't. It's delicious and a mystery.
Raw Vegetable Lasagna - dense with layers of veggies and veggie mashes, delicious and filling.
