A beautiful place to eat and enjoy the day at the Garden that is also a home and school for children (including orphans). Restaurant is operated by volunteers and all proceeds go to maintaining the organization. Sometimes the children help in the restaurant. Breakfast features fruits, hot & cold cereal, breads, and drinks. Lunch set menu consists of organically grown salad greens, fresh baked breads, soup, daal, rice or quinoa, and a cookie. Or you can order a la carte. Sunday brunch features whole grain french toast and waffles. One of few places in Laxmanjhula to get good coffee and real cappuccino. Expensive for local standards but moderate for tourists. On Saturday evening a special meal (like pizza night) - check ahead. Directions: Located away from the main part of town, away from the bridge. From the bridge above German bakery (Devraj) restaurant, go up the stairs and make a right, follow the main alleys/tracks around the corners until you see a sign on your right, or ask someone. Open Tue-Sun 10:00am-3:00pm, Sat 6:30pm-8:30pm.

A little slice of a paradise - Edit
I discovered this place in 2006 with some friends and recently returned in 2014 to see that everything was all delicious and magical as ever. Such a beautiful, loving environment with genuinely organic food (not so easy to come by in India) and really sweet staff. Their Saturday movie nights are not to be missed. Not the cheapest place, but absolutely worth every bite and as the proceeds go towards supporting orphans, what could there be to complain about. Truly one of my favourite restaurants in India, a sanctuary in its own right! And if you love it enough, you can become a volunteer there!

A Wonderful Oasis - Edit
Loved this place! During my trip to this part of India, I made an effort to come here everyday for brunch or lunch.
Read moreThe organic salad greens are beautifully arranged and very scrumptious. Freshly baked cookies are offered after each meal.
More than the wonderful food, the best thing about Ramana's Garden is the comfortable spacious feel that invites one to join and relax. The coffee is made from imported quality beans which I enjoyed after my meals. The only place I highly recommend when in Laxman Jhula.
Often times you will see the resident children playing and walking around. Happy smiles.
Pros: friendly people, good food, beautiful children
Cons: no soymilk?

Organic - Edit
Everything is organic in this gem. The view is great, and the food is great. Often served by cute children. This is only a breakfast /lunch-place, not for dinner. They show an environmental friendly movie on Saturday night and serve pizza and popcorn with it! Closed one day pr week, is it thursdays?
Read moreThis is the only place in the area I would eat a salad.
Pros: Organic, great view, seva
Cons: organic prices, sometimes the kids mix up the order.
