These folks know what they’re doing. All of their vegan protein substitutes (most of which are made with jackfruit) are so well-flavored. I especially loved the asada and chorizo con papa. Their vegan cheese is delightful too.

I am so happy I got to try the tacos here since they are only open on Saturdays during the market. I got 2 tacos and piled on the toppings! It was inexpensive and they were kind enough to answer all my questions about other things on the menu.

I bought a burrito at the market to have for lunch and it was so so so good, but also so big that I had to save half for later. Whatever sauce they use was crack…I wish I could purchase their sauces in a bottle.

Rancho San Agustin is THE reason I go to the Farmer's Market. They have a range of jackfruit based stews (Machaca, Al Pastor, Carnitas), and sell a range of vegan cheeses and cakes. Enjoy their stews in fresh tacos, burritos, volcanes (yum!), quesadillas, etc. Hamburgers are also available. If you love their stews, you can also buy them as frozen meals from Ginger Veggie in Cinco de Diciembre. Always delicious!

Every Saturday serving amazing quesadillas and tacos, all vegan, in the Saturday market at Lazeras Carsenas. But Don't miss the carrot cake. I did miss a Saturday, so I had the delivery on Monday. Same great food.

Great jackfruit tacos and vegan cheese - Edit
They have a stand at the farmers market on Saturday where you can try their jackfruit tacos and the different cheeses they have, like Gouda and cheddar. You can also buy a cheese for 130 pesos, but needs to be cooled though. If you want to buy any of their products on another day they have a delivery service but you can also buy them at a vegan market place called Ginger Veggie in the old town.
