Great food, but the indulgence is not by default vegan! - Edit
My wife and I wanted to spoil ourselves at this dinner, so we wanted to have the "vegan indulgence". This is the biggest set menu they have on their vegan/veggie menu. My keen eyed wife however spotted that there were two dishes on it that contained dairy (she saw this on the menu where this dish was described on its own). Read moreThe food however was very good. The entree contained three different samples, a good sate skewer with tofu, a small viet style puff and the before mentioned rice paper roll.
As a middle course there was a hearty Pho soup, which was rich in flavour and felt like a savoury hug in a cup.
There were two main dishes, one being salt and pepper mushrooms in a fried edible "shell" and some great steamed tofu with white rice and paksoi.
To finish the dinner there was a coconut vanilla ice cream with a slice of banana bread that was very moist, sweet and well balanced.
It was truly a great indulgence full of flavour, great taste and excellent service. Whenever you needed service, you just turned on the cute mushroom lamp and they came to assist you right away.

Top Pick in Cairns 🌿 - Edit
Really, really great food — definitely my top pick in Cairns. They have a solid selection of vegan options, and everything we tried was flavorful and fresh. Loved how clearly the vegan items were labeled and how accommodating they were. Highly recommend!

Entrees: The spring rolls were okay, the vegan crispy pork belly was like deep fried bread.
Mains: Vegetable hot pot that we asked for vegan came with a dirty egg on top, was also extremely salty to the point of being inedible. Sizzling satay tofu was nice but very oily.
Overall was a real miss.
Pros: Satay tofu was tasty
Cons: Vegan request served with an egg :-(, Expensive for portion sizes

The service here was fantastic and so attentive. They were super friendly and the food was just as good. The restaurant is also really nice and the Vegan/ Vegetarian menu is rather comprehensive.
Will definitely try to go back to try some more.

This restaurant had a separate menu for vegetarians with clearly marked vegan options. I had the lemongrass tofu and can say that it was the best I’ve had.

Soooo many options. Very yummy. But the pricing is extremely weird. A side of green beans: $26,95, a side of rice: $3,95 (but not if you want pandan, then it’s $9,95 for the same amount of rice), fresh juice: $13,95. They’ve asked me 3 times if I was ready to order, but the menu isn’t easy to decipher and they can’t offer much help (limited English). Neat and tidy place. Very nice decor, you can easily spend an entire evening here. Surprisingly the live music is a great addition to the whole experience. Pork belly is the most unique dish I’ve had in a long time! The satay skewers are indeed the best ever, amazing satay sauce!

Anyway, they have 6 traditional desserts that all look very good in the pictures (but a dessert for $17,95 is a bit too pricey imo, but maybe it’s very big and very very good?).

We went to this place 2 nights in a row while in Cairns because it's so good. They have a vegan/vegetarian menu with tonnes of vegan dishes. Everything we had was so good - the vegan curry with rice was our favourite, the laksa, tom yum soup, udon and satay skewers were full of flavour too. Vibes are also really good there, there was a guy singing Vietnamese songs on the second night which was very pleasant to listen to.

We went here as my husband is not vegan so there are options for both of us. However he decided to share the vegan food with me!💚 and he loved it. Food was delicious. We had spring rolls, tofu satay skewers, vegan crispy pork belly and stir fried rice noodles. Every was so good.

The tofu vermicelli bowl was really delicious- the lemongrass was a nice flavor addition and it had plenty of vegetables over the noodles. My husband had Tom yum soup and loved it. The restaurant is decorated in a fun way and we enjoyed live music while we ate. Staff were very knowledgeable and when I asked a question, they were sure to bring me a specifically vegan menu to make it easier for me to choose something to eat. They have a lot of great options

Has an eight page vegetarian menu, most items though are already vegan, everything marked. The food taste and quality was great. Waiter provided a complimentary salt and pepper tofu, then we ordered the San Choi Bao, Salt and Pepper Tofu and the Lemongrass Tofu. All were lovely. Many of the items on the menu were also gluten free. Some of the wine was also vegan.

They have a seperate vegan/vegetarian menu which is super helpful. Vegan options are marked clearly and the staff were quite clued up on what is and isnt vegan. Some of the dishes had honey so you can ask them not to include this in the dish. Would recomend the stir fried noodles!

Great option in Cairns for vegans! Many veggie options (all of which they are happy to adapt to vegan) and options already labeled vegan also. Staff are super friendly and happy to accomodate. We love the quirky decor. On the pricier side but big means so good value for money imho.

We stopped here on our way back to the hotel because, after eating vegan ham and cheese sandwiches all day, I was in need of vegetables 🥦 these guys were so nice, I got a big bowl of veggies in some kind of delicious broth. Exactly what I needed 😋
