Fancy and pricy restaurant - Edit
I really liked the location and the friendly service. I chose the beetroot ravioli and tacos with an match raw cake. Careful: i misunderstood that there was egg in the taco dish - was my bad! I survived though :-)

Almost everything can be veganized here, which is good. However, it will always cost more and it already costs a lot. We had a burger for 15€ without the fries… Also, I don’t really get the whole concept. They call themselves flexitarian, but almost every meal has meat as standard. They even promote their “beef cheek” as offer of the day.

Wir haben einen leckeren veganen Burger mit Beyond Meat gegessen. Dazu muss man extra Pommes bestellen. Leider insgesamt etwas teuer. Die selbstgemachte Hibiskus Limonade ist lecker. Leider gab es keine Rotebeete Ravioli mehr. Schöne Terrasse. Man muss einen Aufpreis für vegane Optionen zahlen.

They offer a good variety of vegan options, including salads, main plates, cakes and smoothies. I tried the albondigas with shitake and they were really good. Also the dip plate with two kind of hummus was tasty! Recommended when in the area.

Read moreMust say the menu was quiet hard to read and work out what was vegan and what wasn’t. Lucky the waitress was also vegan and helped us out.
The burger was amazing and also the tacos were very tasty.

Retroway is a haven of calm with an inviting decoration and cosy shaded backyard. I ❤️ that the kitchen doesn’t close between lunch and dinner! The menu offers interesting and clearly marked plantbased dishes as well as vegetarian ones that may easily be adapted to vegan versions.
Read moreI went for the zucchini tartar with avocado and red onion, refreshingly seasoned with lime, basil and chili for the perfect hint of spiciness. Also their beet raviolis with the creamy cashew cheese filling are a delicacy. Finally, the matcha raw cheesecake is in no way inferior to the high quality of their savoury dishes. I also enjoyed their criollo cacao smoothie with banana very much. Being that happy, I ordered the shiitake meatballs with peanut sauce and rice for takeaway and again I was marvelled by texture and taste.

This place deserves 5 stars both for food, service and space/ambience. Plenty of vegan options (or vegan adaptable), offering super interesting dishes that left me wanting to go back to try more. Dishes were beautifully presented, ingredients were fresh, combination of flavours was wonderful, staff was caring and kind. Strongly recommend!

Tasty vegan salad and smoothies - Edit
Stopped there on a Sunday when few other places were open. Enjoyed our poke bowl with watermelon tuna, very tasty dressing and a generous portion. The smoothies were very tasty too. Nice outside seating in the shade.

Auf Nachfrage bekam ich aber noch extra Zitronensaft in mein Getränk.
Äußerst besorgniserregend war allerdings, dass eine Freundin trotz Hinweis auf ihre Haselnussallergie und Nachfrage der Kellnerin beim Koch (bezgl. des Kuchens), im Anschluss direkt Symptomatik zeigte. Glücklicherweise hatte sie ihre Medikamente griffbereit.
Die Allergene waren eigentlich auch in der Karte ausgezeichnet.
Pros: Freundliches Personal, Sauber, Schöne Location/Anrichten
Cons: Teuer, Geschmacklich nicht völlig überzeugend, Nicht Allergikerfreundlich

Great vegan options lovely service - Edit
Lovely place on the south of the island, this is a fantastic place to go out for food if you are travelling in a family or group where not everyone is vegan or vegetarian. There are options for everyone and many vegan dishes. The team are also very happy to adapt veggie dishes to make them vegan too. We come here every time we are on the island and have enjoyed it every time. The courtyard is lovely and cool in summer too which is a plus ☺️👌
