Feels like home

The restaurant feels like you’re dinning in someone’s home. The food is good and the vibes are cozy. I got the vegan tantan ramen, vegan chocolate tart and golden milk with soy. The rainy day made it feel even cozier.

Make sure to have cash on hand because everything is cash only.

Menu was 100% vegetarian, mostly vegan

The vegan food was excellent! The only non-vegan thing I saw on the menu was a choice of cows milk, or soy milk for the various lattes and chai’s available. The menu rotates frequently from what I understand so it’s possible on a different day Other vegetarian, rather than vegan items might be on the menu.
We had amazing tomato Ramen bowls, Samosa appetizers, popcorn, chai’s, and delicious chocolate tart. Would have tried the vegan chocolate ice cream also, but sadly they were sold out 😢

Pros: Flavorful food, Excellent, delicious desserts, Wonderful chai

Cons: Small restaurant that sells out of favorites , Not a problem for us, but all done by 1 person

Good ramen, mediocre lunch

Vo place, with cool vibes, Jazz music and plenty of books. Labeled vegan options. But, not much good choice besides the two ramens and also, weird rules.

I went here twice. The first time I got the tantan ramen, which was very nice. Tangy, flavorful, filling.

The second time I went for the lunch set. There was only one vegan set, the keema curry. The set included a small cup of corn soup which was ok, a small assortment of unrelated appetizers which felt like more of an excuse for the set meal, and the main meal itself which tasted fine but was almost cold and again, small. I was still somewhat hungry afterwards, so I asked for a dessert. Apparently you have to order a drink with a dessert. I didn't want a drink so I gave up. What's the point? I've already had a set meal, why is that not enough to 'justify' a dessert? Well, he just lost money by trying to be greedy 🤷🏻‍♂️

After 16:00 you also must order a drink, even without dessert...

Pros: Good tanten ramen, Cool decor

Cons: Not so great lunch set, Illogical rules, Cash only

Food was nice. Service was horrendous

Note: they also do not offer an option for you to takeaway any food and it's cash only. Was only informed of both after ordering.

Good vibes

The place is cozy and the overall atmosphere is very warm. I had the tantan ramen and the soup was amazing! (Especially if you had black pepper)

All that was missing was a cat

A really lovely, low-key place, packed with books and musical instruments on the wall, jazz playing, quietly cool dude behind the bar... I had vegan ramen which was delicious.

Incredible food, chill vibes

Me and my friend went 2 times while we were in Naha in May, the restaurant is lovely, with books and paintings, with really nice music.
As for the food, not everything is vegan but there are quite a few different options depending on the time you go and your taste!
The tenant is really kind and does everything himself, and the food is so tasty.
Drinks and sweet are nice but the main deal are the noddles.

Pros: Good quality food, tasty., Nice space, really cozy., Good proportion, got out with a full stomach.

Cons: Only cash, may be complicated for some people. , Depending on time you might need to buy a drink.

Tolles Essen

Es gab einige vegane Optionen auf der Karte, wir hatten die Tantan Noodles und Curry Udon Ramen. Beide waren schnell zubereitet und sehr lecker. Leider nur Barzahlung möglich.

Cute place with tasty soups

Small and cute spot. Had the tan tan, ramen and cucumber sides that were all vegan. Tan tan was especially delicious. Would have rated 5 if allowable. Cash only.

Cozy place with delicious ramen

The restaurant is very homey. My partner felt it to be a little rundown but in my opinion it's part of the charm. There were menus available in English and the owner was very attentive. Several vegan options were offered and I went with the vegan ramen which I really enjoyed. It was just on the chill side of spicey! Since it's only one man running the place, our drinks came after we had almost finished our meals since he had other patrons to attend to as well.

Pros: Many vegan options , Cozy atmosphere , Genuinity

Cons: Our ordered drinks came after we had finished food

Good food, not so great service, arbitrary opening hours

Also had to come here twice, the first time was at 7pm, and despite opening hours until 8pm, the owner just said "closed" and suggested me with his hand to leave. The second time I came around 5.30pm, and was the second guest.

On top of the menu it says one drink order is expected with any meal order after 5pm. I thought this was to avoid very small orders, as it is a one-person-restaurant. Since I came in super hungry, ordering two main dishes and a desert alone, I didn't worry about it, and was a bit surprised when the owner insisted on me ordering a drink, too, while ordering.

The food came quicker than expected, and all at once, meaning I suddenly had two mains and a desert in front of me. Normally I'd say I don't have high demands in terms of service quality, and while quick speed is of course a good thing, I couldn't help but feeling rushed. It felt almost like the owner wanted to finish my order as quickly as possible in order to continue chatting with the only other guest besides me. He also didn't bother asking whether I wanted the desert with or after the main courses, something which I am used from living in Taiwan, or interact or check in with me in any other way.

The food itself (curry udon, spicy tomato ramen [wasn't that spicy imo], homemade giner ale, chocolate tarte) was good, though the cumin flavor of the curry udon was a bit intense, even for me who loves eating food with stronger flavours. So, if you are not a fan of that, better order something else.

Pros: Menu with many vegan choices, Food prep much quicker than expected

Cons: My food came all at once (two mains, one desert), Felt rushed and not appreciated as a customer

Warm & perfect for a rainy day

Flavoursome vegan curry with Japanese udon noodles. It was good to find a spot where you see “vegan” clearly labelled on the menu.

Good vegan options

Everything is clearly labeled, so you know what is/isn't vegan, and they have English menus. The prices are good, too. I had the curry udon with a hot spice cocoa. The udon was good, though it could've done with more noodles. The cocoa was tasty. The serving size was pretty good, too.

Pros: Tasty food, Cheap, Good portions

Was okay

Vegan Ramen was okay but the broth had mostly a taste of lemongrass and coriander. So at the end there was just a soapy taste in my mouth. The noodles were a bit hard, little bit tofu and greens and one tomato were in the soup. Was a bit lame.
My partner had the 2 taste currys with rice and soup plate with small appetizers which were tasty.
Prizes are good and service was okay.

Come here while In Okinawa!

This place has such delicious food! I came here yesterday and got the vegan ramen (very good) and home-made ginger ale (delicious). Today, I came back and got the vegan curry udon. So tasty! It’s only a 5 minute walk from Kokusai Dori and is a fun, relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Pros: Delicious food, Super-friendly owner, Fun place: books, games, and musical instruments

Great filling food

I liked everything that I ate. The lunch set was affordable (1400 yen with drink) and very filling as it had soup, salad, the curry, and the ice tea I chose. I had the vegan chocolate tart and the candied nuts were a genius addition. This place has enough vegan options to be a proper vegan place, but I guess the meat options are good to have if you have people in your group who refuse to eat vegan food.
