Must visit when in Almaty 10/10! - Edit
The Sacred Kitchen Restaurant is a warm and welcoming place. The service staff is friendly and patient, the food comes quickly and is absolutely delicious! The menu offers many different options, vegan and glutenfree included. The menu is available in english, german and espagnol as well besides russian and kazakh language. I really liked the atmosphere, the music and the interior design and enjoyed every bite of the food.

We visited twice, once on a weekend and once on a weekday.
Read moreBoth times service was slowish. I think foods are prepared as ordered.
The food is very nice with a well laid out English menu on an app but you could just order.
Mojitos were nice as a long drink.
It is possible to communicate in English. There is an abundance of Staff who appear to be very unorganised. It really feels like someone needs to be in charge.
The atmosphere overall is lovely with comfortable seating.
The Staff are very friendly.
Take credit cards and has WiFi.

Incredible spot for vegans in Almaty - Edit

Amazing vegan Food in Almaty - Edit
The menu is online and you can filter so that it only shows you the vegan options. We had Okroshka and borsch soup which were amazing! Especially the Okroshka was very refreshing on a hot day. Otherwise we hat lentilballs on potato purée, roasted cabbage and plov. Everything was delicious. The plov was the perfect introduction to kasach cuisine.

Great vegan choices - Edit
I was so happy to find Sacred Kitchen. The staff were super helpful, and the vegan choices were wonderful. There are vegan versions of plov, okroshka, as well as desserts with traditional sweet bites veganised like kozinak.
