Saigon Thai Restaurant has a calming ambiance and ample seating, but service was slower than expected, making it less ideal when on a tight schedule. The waitress, though professional and attentive to dietary restrictions, informed me of a mix-up with eggs in my dish, which added to the wait but demonstrated honesty.
Read moreAs a vegan, I tried the Pad Thai with tofu, adjusted to be vegan. While the tofu texture was excellent, the dish overall lacked flavor, with only a hint of peanut coming from the crushed topping. I also learned many vegetarian dishes can be made vegan but would lose their intended flavor, though they mentioned the tofu curry is naturally vegan.
Overall, the experience was mixed: great attentiveness but average taste.
