We had Mi Xao Mem (sauce was too heavy drowning veggies) which was thickened heavily. The Red Wine Stew was tasty but overly seasoned (less is more), the meatballs were pretty though as well as the carrots and aspargus. The Fried Mushrooms were delicious. My girlfriend like all dishes more than I but in asking if she wanted to add it to our list for return she said no. Hopefully, it works better for you. We arrived on Saturday at 2pm and we were the only customers...maybe they do a good delivery business.

Came into Saigon Vegan after the first place we visited was closed. I’m not a fan of beyond or impossible meats so was let down when I found out there was impossible in the egg rolls. We ordered bun bo hue, bun thit nuong, and crispy tofu. I thought the bun bo hue was great! It had great flavors and they provided enough accompaniments on the side. The tofu however neither my fiancée or I liked. Would of also loved to see spring rolls on the menu.

It happened that I was in the area doing some errands, and found this place through this app and I am so glad that I came... I ordered "Mi Xao Mem" and it was delicious, specially the flavor of the noodles and the shiitake mushrooms, plus the veggies were cooked to perfection... Also the server was very nice and friendly. I totally recommend this place! I will definitely come back... 😋

The red wine meatball stew is to die for. 💯 will be back again. However, I was a little salty when the guy working there didn't offer us spicy condiments because we were white, when he was offering everyone else there the spicy condiments who weren't white. When I asked for it, he didn't think I knew it was spicy when it was obvious that it was. Other than that, it was great!

Read moreWe ordered the portobello tenders which were the best I have ever had (vegan or not!). Crunchy, meaty, perfectly seasoned, with a great ranch dipping sauce.
I had the red wine with meatball stew. Very nice, flavorful, rich sauce with potatoes, carrots, asparagus and meatballs. It came with a large warm French baguette. Portion was so generous I brought half of it home for dinner!
My husband had the Pho which he enjoyed very much even though he is not vegan.
We shared the flan which was smooth, creamy and not overly sweet.
We will definitely go back!

Got veggie chow mein takeout here. Very tasty with a great variety of vegetables, tofu, and mock meat. Would definitely be back if it was closer to me.

I am surprised that I haven’t heard of this place before, but I am so happy to know of it. This is a cute fusion spot with a small yet great menu. Buttercup and I decided to visit. I ordered the red wine with meatball stew. This was a rich sauce that was very flavorful and was hearty with potatoes, carrots, asparagus and a generous portion of meatballs. This was served with a baguette. Buttercup had the chicken curry with the white rice. This was also a very hearty yellow curry with plenty of Chik’n, potatoes, and carrots. Both were filling we had about 1/2 boxed up for lunch so we could try the Flan. Wow the flan was delicious. It tasted coco nutty and sweet. Perfect size to share and satisfy that sweet craving and not fill you up or weigh you down.

Red wine "meatball" stew was unbelievably delicious. Savoury and herbal and highly satisfying with big chunks of perfectly cooked vegetables and vegan meatballs. The bread was warm, fresh, and perfect for soaking up that tasty, tasty broth. My meat-loving parents enjoyed the chicken curry and meatball sandwich. The flan was creamy and sweet. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Great experience!

They may not have many items on their menu, but what they do have is done extremely well. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak, it comes with a side salad. It was delicious! The “beef” is delicious and has great texture. My mom tried the coconut curry - AMAZING! The servers are friendly and helpful. Also bonus points for being a quiet, clean, peaceful restaurant!

Limited menu of stews and sandwiches. This place was a full-on meat-based restaurant and the owner/chef switched to vegan. Yay. We ordered three stews (chicken curry, blissful, and red wine meatball). All were great but on the spicy side. The French baguette helped temper the heat but the sweet server was kind enough to offer my mom some white rice, which pretty much saved her life.

The flan in this place is the BEST vegan flan I have ever tasted. I also tried the Red Wine Meatball Stew, Chickn Curry, and Beefless Curry. The Red Wine stew and Chickn Curry are my favorites.

The owner of this restaurant and Vegan Nirvana's restaurant are 2 different people. Vegan community is so good at bad mouthing their own community is unbelievable! The gossips, in fighting, and self destruction is unbelievable! There is no such thing as innocent until proven guilty in vegan community. Vegans are so good at blah blah blah, just open your dirty mouths and bring somebody down. Vegans are so good at that!

Two words: vegan flan 🍮 It seems to be made from coconut milk, I think, so if you love coconut flavor, you will love the flan. It's perfectly sweetened with a small hint of coffee flavor and has a nice, smooth texture. I would come back just for the flan, but I also ordered the Philly and the fried mushrooms and both were pretty tasty. The Philly had a very convincing meat and cheese substitute but didn't really taste like a traditional Philly cheese steak to me. It was still pretty good. The fried portobello mushrooms were super good -- Omni approved! I recommend putting Sriracha in the aioli dipping sauce for next-level deliciousness. The menu includes western-style sandwiches and some less common Vietnamese foods. I would love to see their take on banh mi and other authentic Vietnamese dishes. Maybe they will be added to the menu someday? 😉
Read moreThe cafe is in a less busy part of Little Saigon, so parking wasn't a problem at all. The servers were friendly and super hospitable. Can't wait to try more of the menu like the beef stew and ragu next time I visit 🥰 Highly recommended!
