Lots of oat milk options & some frozen food - Edit

Pleasantly surprised that they had my favorite oat milk from the US! Can’t wait to try the other ones they have in stock. I look forward to exploring more of the supermarket and see what other vegan things they have.

Fresh herbs and flowers - Edit

Saruga has a large assortment of fresh produce, including uncommon herbs (for Korea) and edible flowers, which I find fascinating.

There are also several plant-based milks and other imported foods that are veggie-friendly. However, the assortment of vegan food options is currently rather limited: a couple of ramen, frozen dumplings and frozen mock meat. I would have expected there to be a larger variety of vegan alternatives given the size of the supermarket...

They have plant-based yogurt! - Edit

Large selection, some fruits and vegetables that aren’t wrapped in plastic and they have plant-based yogurt 😁 More vegan products that you could find in your regular supermarket

Pros: Plant-based yogurt

Cons: A bit pricey

My supermarket - Edit

In Seoul most people by groceries online for delivery but we all need a reliable local supermarket. This is mine. They are not the cheapest but they do have a great assortment of organic veggies. I would give them the extra star if they actually had a vegan fridge or freezer, but they dont.

Good options - Edit

Nice place, quite big. Has a decent section of organic foods, most is raw and needs to be cooked. But otherwise good.

Pros: Decent selection

Cons: Could only find canned kidney beans.

Various herbs, Vegan and Organic sections - Edit

All the foods are nicely displayed. You can buy various herbs, edible flowers and vegan products. If plastic package goes to zero waste package friendly, then it will be great.
