Really good stuff - Edit
The vegetarian tag is misleading, because almost everything on the menu was vegan. The food was amazing. Absolutely lovely. I'm only giving it 4 stars instead of 5, due to those really weird stairs leading to the 2nd floor. Who designed this? Again, food was an absolute marvel.

You pay by weight, so you can choose from the buffet any options. All items have a label- if its green its vegan, if its orange its vegetarian. All the things I tried were delicious and price is reasonable. Staff spoke English and were very friendly. The atmosphere was great!

For a change, it is delicious food with precise seasoning in relation to the offer of vegetarian and vegan restaurants in the city. In terms of prices, this is an average and relatively fair price. A satisfying dish costs around 25 lev. The seating is very comfortable and fun as well as the atmosphere and the music. I would definitely come back. Everything was delicious and fresh except for one dish with cauliflower and green onions.

It is a buffet style restaurant, where you choose the food and pay per weight. Overall, Indian kitchen. It definitely become expensive place. No less than 15 EUR per person and I would not wonder if you are not fully satisifed.

Wonderful buffet with a mix of vegan and vegetarian curry and Asian foods. Really comfy spot with a bit of a yogi vibe. Mainly healthy options with lots of veg, my fave was the tempeh and tofu curry. It’s not a cheap option if you want a decent portion though.

I went to Satsanga for dinner and had an absolutely wonderful meal and experience. The vibe and decor is on trend and cheerful and plenty of seating. There was plenty of vegan options and all were awesome (of course I tried a bit of everything). Great flavour and on the healthier side. I also got an IPA beer which was wonderful.

There's nothing that I've tasted that hasn't been delicious! The food is definitely prepared with love and attention to the detail. The thing I like the most is the fact there is a great variety and you can try a little bit of everything. Pleasant atmosphere, extremely kind staff. I absolutely recommend this place. Decent Krisna restaraunt with high prices - Edit
This is a pay-by-weight Krisna restaurant like many before it (often named Govindas, Gopals, etc.) Most major cities have them, often being the first vegetarian restaurant in many locations.
Read moreAs Krisna eateries go it follows a fairly predictable pattern: it's pay-by-weight; the food is pleasant but not very spicy; there is a kind of generic and familiar yet non-specific Indian-Nepalese palette; there will be dahl and rice and some kind of balls. With this in mind it is not an "Indian restaurant". No hot curries. Nothing hot at all.
Having said that, it is a little more on the flavourful side and the desserts are fairly rich and, by Krisna standards, extravagant, including multiple vegan cheesecakes. It's also the most expensive Krisna restaurant I've ever eaten in. I can only assume the other reviewers eat meals of 180 calories, because to get a satisfying meal, drinks and desserts cost me 25 lev, which for Bulgaria is high but for a Krisna pay-by-weight place absolutely mind-blowing.
Centrally located. Warm in winter. Lightning quick service (hoho - it's self-serve). On the downside, I found the wooden furnishings to be very uncomfortable and lacking any back support at all.
The music is unobtrusive religious music with a modern twist.
Pros: Better than normal quality Krisna food, day to day variety, centrally located
Cons: Extremely expensive if you have an appetite, unsophisticated and predictable flavours

Read moreI liked the interior design; the walls and ceiling were blue, the chairs and tables were made out of wood and there were plants everywhere.
The staff was super friendly. I decided to have the pay-per-weight buffet consisting of stews, rice, fried stuff, salads and more. It was extremely good and price-worthy. I also had a dessert and it was also good.
I had a great time and would love to come back the next time I'm in Sophia.
