Fully vegan buffet restaurant with a big terrace on a quiet square in the middle of the city very close to Dom and station. A large choice of sizes of platters and price. Fill as you like. Cold salads are mostly pickled. Hot dishes are mostly semi-warm so don't expect fresh hot portions. A lot of choice of dishes. The labeling with description of dishes were wrong on several options.

Vegan buffet with a large selection of very tasty vegan dishes. You pay per plate, either large or small plate. Also serves soups, cakes and coffee, to be paid extra.
Read moreMinus: your sampled food all gets mixed up on the plate. They should rather switch to pay per weight model and provide big plates or trays.
Pros: Excellent choice of fine vegan food, Central location, Lots of outdoor seating
Cons: I'd prefer pay per weight than pay per plate

Was great to be able to try lots of different items, all vegan. Grab a dish and fill it.. Then pay before you take a table. Lots of tables outside. Food was amazing especially thr roast potatos

I am a fan of huge portions full of tasty food, so this one was a match for me. They had a great variety of all kinds of vegan food. There is something for everybody - some healthy salads and some hearty, more fatty dishes. I had a little bit of everything and I hope to be back soon!

Friendly staff, recognised us on our 2nd visit... although it was later the same day 😉 clearly labelled buffet, with soups, hot and cold options and 3 plate and bowl sizes to cater for appetite and a Vegan wine selection as well. Busy with locals and tourists bit lots of seating inside and out in the small square.

Best price-quality relation vegan buffet I've had - Edit
I'm already grieving not being able to stay more than 1 day in Koln to come here everyday 😭 I payed €11,50 for a medium sized plate that I could fill as much as I liked. The food is delicious, both the cold dishes like pasta and chickpea salads and the hot ones like the tempeh (?) tika massala. Delicious baked potatos and mushrooms. I don't even know what else to say. Loved everything!

Sattgrün is always a highlight for me when I'm in the NRW area. I just love their fully vegan buffet concept and am already looking forward to coming back! This outlet of Sattgrün is also very conveniently located close to the central station.

Read moreAlso: Sehr schlüssiges Konzept, eine große Auswahl an guten Gerichten, und wenn es sonnig ist, sitzt man vor der Tür ausgezeichnet. Ich bin mittlerweile sehr froh, wenn ich ein „Soja Stroganoff“ sehe; Asia Bowls (die ich sehr mag!!!) bekomme ich an fast jeder Ecke.
Es schmeckt, aber haut einen auch nicht vom Hocker.
Den Kuchen habe ich nicht probiert, aber ich habe die Stücke gesehen: RIESIG!
Preislich absolut im Rahmen.

The food is absolutely delicious and healthy too, but they do offer cakes too. There are three different sizes of plates/ takeaway containers, but you can load it as much as you want to. It’s a tiny bit pricy, but the food always tastes fresh.

Echt eine mega Auswahl. Es gibt vier verschiedene Tellergrößen. Haben die Bowls genommen und echt alles probiert. War dann aber auch für viel. Mittags gibt's die Bowl für 12,90 € mit einem Getränk. Es war echt sehr lecker. Bester Tofu!

Great place with nice seating area indoor and out. Massive range of good quality buffet food. I crammed so much onto my plate! Half the buffet is cold and half is hot with things like curry etc. They also do soup which looked delicious.

Sehr abwechslungsreiches Buffet: eine Hälfte der Speisen ist kalt, eine warm. Es gibt verschiedene Salate, Saucen, Currys uvm.
Read moreman zahlt pro Teller, deren Größe man je nach Appetitt auswählen kann. Ich bin bislang von der mittleren Größe immer satt geworden.
Zusätzlich gibt es Tagessuppe, süße Backwaren und Kaffeespezilitäten
