Very Cute Restaurant, Food a Bit Bland - Edit
We ordered off the menu and dined outside, but a buffet lunch was also available. The burgers weren't very flavorful and were very difficult to eat because the bun fell apart very easily.

Fui almoçar num domingo e gostei muito. Permitem a entrada de animais, o que é muito bom porque ia em viagem e não estava um dia muito agradável para esplanada. Gostei muito dos pratos quentes e adorei a sobremesa! As entradas do buffet eram muito à base de salada/ingredientes crus. Havia diversidade de ingredientes, mas todos crus, o que não corresponde tanto ao meu gosto pessoal. Mas tudo tinha um sabor agradável e ingredientes de qualidade e frescos. Comi ainda uma fatia de um bolo de laranja delicioso! Fiquei curiosa em voltar para experimentar os hamburgueres!

We arrived at lunchtime, haven driven from Porto. Everyone else was eating but apparently there was no food. Very strange. I suggest phoning ahead before travelling to this place.

The lunch incudes a soup, the buffet with cold and hot meals as well as tea (hot or cold). Large varivery of vegan food. Very nice and helpful staff. Don't hesitate to taste some of their delicious pastries.

Whenever you find a vegan restaurant in Braga, you know you found heaven. If that place has good food and good service, then you have found Paradise.

Vegan buffet, full of raw and steamed vegetables, lentils, brown rice, soup, etc. All very fresh and flavorful, and the staff was very friendly and speaks a little english. The attached market has some really interesting items too!

What can I say? The food here is absolutely amazing. Everything is super fresh, tasty and healthy. And it's really a steal for what they charge for the buffet. I'd happily pay double the price for lunch here.
Read moreWe went for lunch with our two young children, who happily had two platefuls each. I was super greedy and had three helpings of fresh salad, lentil curry, sauteed tofu and whole grains.
The food is prepared with care, and you can really taste the difference from other places who are not as conscientious about the preparation of their dishes.
It's not in the city centre but rather located in the middle of quite an unattractive apartment complex, which is a shame.
But it's not far from the centre and it's certainly accessible.
Pros: Faultless food for an unbelievable price, Cozy restaurant with terrasse and a shop, Owner and staff are friendly
Cons: It's slightly out of the way if you are a tourist

Was having a hard time finding a good place to have a vegan meal, tried the so many vegetarian places but all of them didn't have vegan option that day or couldn't tell if they did use milk ingredients (cream, cheese, etc) and most had egg in it.
Read moreLuckily I manage to rang Semente and they told us how to get there (no gps with us), and they left the place open for us since we arrived a little after the closing time.
We had a big portion of food (sadly most of them was already gone) and it tasted incredible.
We had roasted pumpkin, shredded veggies w/vegan mayo, bulgur and smoked tofu and a salted pie. A tea with the meal too.
The staff was very welcoming and warm, we had a great meal and chat with them.
There's a macrobiotic shop inside the place, it's small with warm colors and outside seats.
Will come back for sure. Thank you

I was absolutely amazed by this local family restaurant! Great quality and friendly service. I took a friend who is from Braga, nothing even close to vegan diet and he loved it as much as I did. Absolutely recommended!

I was visiting my parents in Portugal and as I have convinced my mother to follow a vegan diet and lifestyle we decided to have lunch in Braga. We ended up at Semente and we greatly enjoyed their buffet full of choices, hot and cold. The staff was very welcoming and made us feel at ease. I also had a delicious chocolate cake and a freshly pressed orange carrot juice. I am looking forward to returning to Semente again!

Au niveau de la nourriture ce fut un pur régal !!!!
Entrées et différents plats chauds sont proposés sous forme de buffet.
Tout est à volonté (à discrétion).
Un super mélange de couleurs et de saveurs.
Tout est frais et fait maison.
Côte crudités et buffet froid, un grand choix de légumes crus ou juste blanchis côtoient un gâteau salé aux légumes.
Et pour les plats chauds qui sont tous très très bons l'équilibre alimentaire est respecté avec bonheur !
Légumineuses, céréales complètes, tempeh...
Et pour les desserts nous avons dégusté un gâteau au chocolat et à l'orange, un autre sous forme de gelée fraîche à la fraise et bananes et un dernier type cheesecake nappée d'un coulis de courge.
Merci au restaurant Semente d'exister et merci à toutes les petites mains qui y oeuvrent pour votre accueil au top !!!

Semente is the best I know - Edit
I've been there about 3 times while staying in Braga. It's buffet and It's excellent, from the enviroment to the delicious food and vegan deserts. The owner is very kind. All the food is Vegan, nothing to worry about. Every Vegan should have at least one place like Semente nearby!
