Pleasantly Surprised - Edit
Serendipity surprised by the amount of options they had. I opted for the max and cheese and they even had vegan chicken to add to it. It had truffles which added a VERY strong flavor but I did not mind it. The cheese was great in it. The vegan frozen hot chocolate was also pretty good, with a strong coconut flavor. I don’t love coconut so opted without the shreds on top, but it still had a strong flavor from the ice cream. I was shocked at the options and the staff was helpful! You can’t go wrong with going to such a classic NYC establishment with such rich history. Would highly recommend.

Tasty Vegan Coconut Frozen Hot Chocolate - Edit
This restaurant only offers ONE vegan dessert option. So not much to choose from- „take it or leave it“. They do however offer other vegan food options such as burger, tacos and Mac n cheese. ( I only had the frozen hot chocolate )
The Vegan Coconut Frrrozen Hot Chocolate was delicious! I can and will recommend it. Just wish they had more options.
The service was great and the atmosphere was also nice. Musik got pretty loud at times but still ok. Also had fancy bathrooms and in general a different and nice ambience.
What really surprised me, was the Guinness world records this place has broken. Have a look at my pictures to find out more! (Check the picture of the menu)
By the way! YOU SHOULD HAVE RESERVATIONS! People without were literally standing outside waiting to get in. #Veganuary

Good diner options for vegans - Edit
We went for the kids and were pleasantly surprised by the number of vegan offerings - tacos, black bean burger, frozen hot chocolate, Mac n cheese, maybe more. Delicious and abundant fries. Minimum expenditure person required which I assume is to prevent people from just going for the hot chocolate.

Vegan Frozen Hot Chocolate - Edit
It's great to see vegan options offered at non vegan establishments. I've always wanted to go to Serendipity 3, being a big fan of the movie. I used to dream of the day I'd get to have the frozen hot chocolate and wasn't sure that I'd be able to partake in the experience now that I'm transitioning to being vegan. But to my surprise, they have a vegan frozen hot chocolate that's coconut based and actually tastier than I expected. They also feature a vegan mac and cheese, which I didn't try but was curious about. The frozen hot chocolate could definitely be shared. I was able to drink it but struggled by myself.

Large menu, a few vegan options. - Edit
This spot is well known so was happy to find vegan options so I could experience it with the non-vegans I was with. I had the crispy vegan tacos and they were delish as was the famous (vegan) frozen hot chocolate

Meh - Edit
Ordered the mac n cheese barely, took two bites before i sent it back, got the black bean burger instead, didnt really like it either. I reaaaally wanted to like the mac n cheese but it lacked flavor and so did the cheese they used which mostly ruined it for me. Atleast the mexican mule was good and the decor was nice.
