I asked if the avocado on bread is vegan, they told me there is cream cheese on it and offered to replace it with hummus. Nice.
Then I got a plate with some avocado on bread, scrambled eggs and a salad.
I asked if it indeed was scrambled egg and they offered to remove it and instead give me a second slice of bread. Nice.
Once my "vegan" plate was ready and I started eating, I found a slab of butter (honestly not sure what it was for) next to the salad and I'm sure they just used their honey based dressing for the salad.
The avocado bread tasted good, the matcha late with soy milk was also good, and my partners acai bowl and hot chocolate tasted good as well.
tl;dr
Good place if you're not strictly vegan, otherwise you really have to ask what will be on your plate and guide them through.
i got soya matcha latte which was good and acai bowl which i ended up waiting for more than 20min because they forgot to make it (the wait wasnt worth it).
They got me some lemon cake as an apology and that was tasty:)
Be sure to check if vegan items are really vegan. Almost all bowls are served with honey dressing and you have to specify if you want them to omit it. The Vegan Chicken Bowl was good, but there are better cafes in Berlin.
I had the iced matcha late, (warm) chai latte and pancakes. The matcha latte was pretty bad, the chai latte was good but a bit sweet (I didn’t mind it) and the pancakes were delicious.
There were a lot of choices for vegetarians and vegans! (For both snacks, breakfast or lunch)
