Das Essen hat super gut geschmeckt. Wir hatten einmal Gyros und einmal Pilze im Brot und es war so lecker. Das Brot ist hausgemacht und die Dame die hier arbeitet, war auch sehr freundlich. Mein Freund, der sich normalerweise nicht vegetarisch/vegan ernährt, war genauso begeistert! Kann es nur empfehlen.

Shambala is a one person operation, done for "the love of it rather than to make money" which is great but being more efficient would be great too. This is a really small operation I'd strongly recommend calling in advance if you are going with more than two people. There are only seats (in winter) for 4! There was only Kombucha and tap water available for drinking when I visited and the daily menu on the board was from the day before and there were only infact two options available. They were both lovely but its worth noting. I am looking forward to trying the advertised pastries but there were only some out of date 'snickers' cakes available for me and though they were offered for free and I being a pig ate them, a more discerning foodie may have felt a tad let down.

Another pleasant evening in Shambala with excellent food, including a super ferero Roche cake in a cup... decadent but gorgeous. Still no tea but I’ll keep coming back here to try all the interesting dishes kristina makes

I keep coming back and Kristina keeps sending me away happy in my stomach.
Called in again today (4/7/24) and had a wonderful piece of Aura cake Kristina vegan style! Named after her beloved dog this creamy 6 layered cake is gorgeous , not always available, so hurry on down!

Read moreThey sadly hadn't had a delivery come in so my partner and I just shared the one Kombucha available but it was refreshing enough as it was.

Cons: Bit far from main streets, Small and few staff so stock may be low

The Gyro was fantastic and the kombucha was a Zagreb made speciality that was perfect match. The owner and chef was kind enough to let me eat there even though it was a takeaway restaurant (didn’t know that). She set up a table for me outside. They don’t take card so bring your Euro.

We had gyros with cheese. It would need a little bit more dressing and soy chunks could be replaced by seitan for better structure and taste. But overall it was pretty good. Lady makes her own pita which was totally recognizable - it was very fresh and crispy.

Small place for a quick lunch that was very filling. I ordered the gyros and I was warm, savory and the cabbage was nice and crispy. The owner added vegan cheese as well which is a plus. Would be even better if it was melted mmh. Paid around 6 euro
